Week two of vacation into effect. Yesterday we went to Allentown PA to visit Dorney Park Theme Park and Wild Water Kingdom.
It was great. Fun time had by all. Then off to sister in law's for dinner for the four of us (No kids)
Seating would have been comical if it weren't so pathetic. More engineering goes into seating then I thought
Appititizers came were eaten in do course, way too much time past till finally me and my usually collected self went to look for the hostess, mind you this will be the same woman who "seated" us.
"Excuse, we are still waiting for our food three tables have received theirs and they came in after us."
She looks at me and says: "Are you sure you ordered it?"
Just then the Chef was walking through, I don't think he heard, but he wouldn't need to because the look on my face could be seen by a blind man.
We are having more down time on this vacation then I had imagined.
Dorney Park was supposed to be last week along with an over night and stay at Valley Forge.
Now the weather doesn't look good enough to go to Valley Forge.
So I am going to find closer things here in NJ. Washington's Headquarters is about 30 minutes away.
There you have it.
I skipped out on my hubby out in the backyard with our two kids and the neighbours 3 kids (one 5 year old and two 2 year old boy twins)
filling a pool.
He is on vacation from his job. I am on vacation from mine.
Not really but I can dream.
