Wake, Music, Wild (didn't work)

Response to For anyone who has had *success* with WILD...

Hey fellow oneironauts, shamans, and frustated sleepers,

i'm new to the forum. after seeing Waking Life and Vanilla Sky, i became fascinated about LDs. I read Laberge's ETWOLD, and Robert Moss' Conscious Dreaming. I've been keepin a pretty steady dream log. I've been taking B-complex, kava kava, and St. John's Wort vitamins, i've been doing occasional reality checks, and so far, i've had very little success. i had one WILD lucid dream (but got so excited that i woke myself up after a minute), and i had another dream in which i had partial lucidity (i was aware that i was dreaming, and i could change things, but never the way i wanted to).

after reading about the forum last nite, I tried the wake, music, wild technique in which you wake up after 5-6 hours, put on soft music and employ the wild hypnagogic imagery. i got some imgaery, i got the painful numbness/vibration, but i lay like this for a solid hour. i am exhausted now (due to a bad night's sleep), and i'm extremely frustrated. what's more, i don't remember a single dream from last nite (let alone any lucid ones). can an experienced oneironaut help a brother out? toss me a rope here and allow me to earn my official dreamwalker status. i just lay there and my mind was super-duper alert. i was extremely tired, but not sleepy (if you get my drift).

thank you folks. sweet dreams

Vivo Sonhando
