err...A dream of dreaming of a lucid dream... err...

I had a very odd dream last night. I don't remember all of it though. I do remember that I had a dream of falling asleep and having a dream that I was lucid. Just think about it and I'm sure you'll understand. Anyway, I was than on a field type area. I had no control, and there wasn't any vividness. I do remember thinking a lot though. I was on this field and kept jumping up and down. I was attempting flight. I than thought to myself that I now know that this is the dream world and I should be able to do anything I want. I continued to try and fly by jumping and flapping my arms. The dream than ended. So what do you think of this?? Please reply
Basicly. It says things are not going the way you wan't it to happen right now, in real life that is. You could also get the dream that you are falling and when you hit the ground you wake up. Problem is your real life. Anything not going the way it should? Improve it.
err.... interesting... I'm not quite sure how you came up with that interpretation though. Also, it's hard to explain, but this dream felt different and was really odd. It's sorta like I knew I was dreaming but I never realised this. I think this may just be a sign that I'm getting closer to my first lucid dream, yet I'll take your idea into account... Anyone else have any thoughts????
I think the problem I have is that I need to become more aware. I've had way too many dreams where lucid dreaming and reality checks are being spoken about or thought about. I would either ignore this or actually think, "This dream makes sense! Not when I wake up though, but now it makes perfect sense!" I do think I'm getting closer though. As for the reality checks, the "poking your finger through yor hand" hasn't come up in a dream yet. I think sharpening my awareness will help a lot though. Thanks for the links
Pum, uh, no such thing as full lucidity? Well, until you map out ALL 100% of the human brain and what each part does and is capable of doing then not only can you not say there is no such thing as full lucidity, but you cannot say no such thing as telepathy, telekinetics, etc, etc
If there was such a thing as 100% lucidity it would be propably boring to death.
Knowing and controlling everything?weather, mood, music, plots, enviroment? What use in it?The ld is there for us to have fun, explore, learn and such. Not to rule the world and change it to our needs because we would ran out of ideas in 2 days.Thats why we wont even want 100%- if its goin to be exciting world for us it also has to have suprises.
Are you sure about that? If I was offered the oppurtunity or found the ability to control either 100% (or even 20% more than I currently do) of my brain OR my dreams then I would take it up cause total control means basically infinite possiblities. Hell I would dream up a whole new life and drop in and out every night just to keep living the new life while I sleep (the ultamite "get away from it all")
