i am glad to come back To forum and see people having there first induced ld's it feels good to see messages like..MY FIRST LD,and I JUST HAD MY FIRST LD,ect very very nice

Heh...thanks! It was incredible, and I give a lot of thanks to this board.....seeing as how all I did was read on lucid dreaming for HOURS and HOURS LOL. Was fascinating.......

a year ago on this forum, it was really only experienced dreamers. with very few beginners and interested people.
And now all I see are people trying to have their first. Or true beginners. I have read no self appointed pro's yet since i have been back here =)
It is very exciting!!! What a glory that more people are pointing towards the spiritual. And heading down the path of enlighntment!

The great thing about LDs is that they make perfect sense and it's not frightening spiritual stuff. I suppose that's why so many people are attracted to it.....

Very good point. People are attracted to LD's because it's such an easy and fun experience. Never really thought about that much.
But OOBE's are a much more rare thing, and not many people can do it. And one thing I can tell you of Astral Projection, is it is very scary for beginners. Consciously leaving your bodies and suddenly being in this huge world of thought we dont understand. Can be creepy and can bring your fear to the surface.
But I suggest that every LDer be working there way to OOBE's. OOB is where it counts, and there is much more growth waiting for you there.

i have a great astral projection book and can project very easy now i have had about 10-15 not sure how many but i love them all AND THERE IS NOTHING SCARY! The only reason people get scared is because people say stupid scary stories and freak everyone out.

well good for you. Your so good that you never got scared or let your fears get to you.
But never the less, Some people find leaving your body freaky.
For example, prior to leaving you get those Strong hectic Vibrations. And you can sometimes hear weird voices of whispers or laughter when on the brink.
Or even VERY loud bangs or such noises that seem completly life like.
With all this going on, like I said for novices, It could be scary. But as you learn more, those distractions are nothing major, and are meant to be overcome.
