I have not yet had success holding a lucid dream. So i have not yet got a chance to try any of my personal experiments. I was wondering if any of you have maybe tried this or would like to. Me personally thinking anyone you meet in your dream is actually someone you’ve manifested, and would pretty much know anything you where thinking? Thus hinting my experiment.
After you are lucid in your dream, attempt to locate or manifest a being of some sort. Start discussion by telling the being “You are me, did you know that?”, “I am dreaming right now, and you are actually me” weather it believes you or not, it matters none, for next tell him. If you don’t believe me, I am about to pick a number 1-100, and i guarantee you will know the number. Pick what ever number you like. Have the number ready and tell him, go ahead guess what number i am thinking of. I personally think he/she/it will know the number. What do you think?
I just cant see what such experiment could prove?
I think it could go in two directions- either this being will not answer at all or it will answer correctly. But still ,what does it prove? We all know that its rare that we comunicate through words in dreams. Its usually by reading thoughts or having those thoughts read. Therefore thinking about the number will be the same like to say this number out loud to this being.
If i got it right i think its waste of time which could be used i.e to meet some nice brunnette and talk to her about something else than numbers.
Oh, the question I ask those dream beings. I know this will draw some bashing on myself but, Some dream beings are not a part of us. Most are, but from my experience some are not. I used to tell them all the time, that they were in my dream. Sometimes they would say,"yes I know I am in your dream, and I am not answering your questions, go away." Why would you tell yourself to go away? I have interviewed hundreds of dream characters and can say with fact, about three percent of them had nothing to do with me. That is just how I feel, I could be wrong!
I've tried telling dream characters that I have made them up, that they're my creations (which I tend to believe), but the dream then sort of "stops", there is no reaction and the storyline doesn't progress. Sometimes I wake up. It doesn't achieve the Lucid 'Buzz' that happens when I'm just exploring in a lucid state. Though I disagree with Sherlock's - uhm - spirituality, his respect for his dreamcharacters and his belief that dreams come from an independant source may be a very good attitude. He certainly seems to have many LD's. I find it much harder, and this may have something to do with the powertrip that I'm on in my LD's. Hmmmm. Just a thought in progress..
