lets say your in a LD and you notice a tv with bugs bunny cartoons on or any cartoon could you a 3-d being enter a 2-d landscape and if so would everything become 3-d cartoon style? (now i know what your thinking "this idiot is infantile and for some reason still enjoys cartoons")but im just trying to get an idea of the level of possibilities in a LD.

a thing i enjoy is calvin and hobbes so im gonna do things with that in my ld's, im either gonna jump into his world or bring him into mine, and i have had dreams where a 3 dimensional calvin and hobbes came into my dream and i loved it.it may sound juvenille to you but calvin and hobbes has sentimental value to me, and now im blabbing so im gonna shut up. fill me in if you would.

Your ideas seems very interresting to me,
and not at all childish or anything, it just
seems like plain fun. Me too has always adored
cartoons of any kind, so be it "Calvin & Hobbes" or my absolute favourite for now "Nemi"..

Anyway, once I become lucid I will surely try this
fascinating experiment out!

If you're childish, then so am I, and the most childish people are those who do not dare to admit it IMO.

In one of my early LDs I tried the spinning technique to change my location. I spun around with my eyes closed, thinking something like "When I open my eyes I'll be in a cartoon world..."

When I stopped spinning and opened my eyes I was in a totally blank white space. The world and its inhabitants then started being drawn all around me, in thick black lines. It looked like a cartoony computer game rather than pencil-and-paper style cartoons. Everything was very simple. People just had thick, round-ended sticks for arms and legs.

I can remember running towards a park, which was forming in front of me. As I ran I looked down and saw that I too had become a computer/cartoon person. I could see my black cartoony legs running along!

That's all I can remember now, as it was some time ago. I think I posted the dream report here at LD4ALL, so it's probably lurking somewhere in the ooooold pages.

thanx for the kind words people, i guess its not such a crazy idea, well maybe it is but in a fun manner. on top of that another thing i'd like to try is going into space. im not sure how my brain would fill in a whole universe that im mostly unfamiliar with but that seems like alotta fun. i gots more experiments to my record than LD's. i hope that i can remember my ideas in the LD's

once again thanks for experiences im learning alot and LD'ing is becoming alot more than i ever could of expected :)

Before blasting off into space, look up at the sky. I've still never done this in an LD but have read lots of reports of people seeing beautiful colours, multiple suns/moons, etc.

Next time i LD i'll close my eyes and say: I wanna be in the simpsons. or star trek. or the sopranos!

Maybe I'll get a mix of those, all rolled into one!
