I agree with you that this lady was a poor interview. She seemed to add a mystical-sense to her "travels." What made me think she was not having LDs was the content of her stories. She talked about meeting people from her past that has died, visiting the "akashik records" ... or however you spell it
.. and she talked about different levels/planes where some "lower/evil beings" dwelled. My LDs are no where near that. I've never been aware of different levels of LDs where my characters are more good/evil. Nor have I conjured up dead people or visited the akashic records. I'm not saying these aren't possible in a LDs, it just seemed her stories were quite different than the LDs shared here.
I don't think I've ever "Astral projected" or had an "OBE." So I can't comment on there existence. I do believe they are possible since I believe we are more than our physical self. But I agree that this lady was one big ball of B.S!
She gave a method to try to induce astral projection. I personally give it no merit and think it is quite a waste of time. But it does require you to drink water so that is a good thing. Everyone should drink more water.
Ok, here it goes.
Get a full glass of water.
Wait until RIGHT BEFORE you go to bed.
Sit on the edge of your bed with the glass of water in your hand.
With your head looking forward, point just your eyes in a 90-degree angle up, look straight up at the ceiling without bending your neck.
Say to yourself "I will astral travel and be fully conscious of it. I will consciously remember my astral travel" .... or something along those lines.
With your eyes still pointing up, drink half the glass of water.
go to sleep.
She then suggest that if this doesn't work the first night then repeat it the second night with THE REMAINING HALF-GLASS OF WATER. Yes, she recommended keeping the half-glass of water. Don't ask me why. Just make sure you cover the glass so you don't drown little buggies.
Sounds simple doesn't it. I havn't tried it because I've been busy lately. The lady SAYS that drinking the water at the same time your eyes point up is suppose to trigger something in the brain. I'm really skeptical on this so if anyone has success with it please post your results.
