I've been trying to have lucid dreams for a few months now and I have a question. Recently I have been able to say to myself in a dream "Hey...I'm dreaming." but whenever I do this...I always wake up, not that I'm real excited or anything. I've been trying to figure out the proper way of achieving lucidity, and if you can tell me how, I would appreciate it.
If you experinced black out as soon as you get lucidity, then do not think yourself waking up..
Just pretend that you are still in your dream.
And move your dream boy quickly,
When I was novice lucid dreamer, I got same trouble but I am sure that problem will be gone automatically.
But if you want quick fix, I would recommend try to fly at that waking moment with your dream body.
Even though there is no visual image (only black), you may feel some sensation of movement. Keep going on..then suddenly you returned in dream world.
It seems that you are aware that you were dreaming and then got back in the flow then awoke after it was done. At first the parts of a dream I always remember the most were the ones that I was saying hey this is a dream or I accidently walked through a wall or something.. all it took for me is while I was awake I would try to pass my hand through a wall if that worked then I knew I was dreaming and I took full control. even today you will see me walking down a hall running my hand against it.. it is habit. When you hand passes through you are in. that is just what I do there are many different ways find one that works for you. good luck
