I keep having a dream of a boyfriend I had when I was 15 (I'm 29 now). I have not seen him since his mum's funeral. Eight months ago before and after his mum's death I've dreamed about him. He will walk by and say can we talk or we have to talk. I have a steady boyfriend at the moment.

No big deal, probably cos the last time you saw each other was a highly charged emotional event, (funeral) it holds the memory, and everyone wants to hold on to situations wehre someone cares about them.
