I HAVE LOOKED IN MY DREAM BOOK, BUT THERE IS NOTHING ABOUT HAMSTERS!! THANKS, JANE. |

Hi Jayne
I've had a dream similar to this myself with my own hamster - how bizarre!! If we think about it, a hamster is a pet that we nuture and look after, it depends on us to feed it and clean it and it gives us companionship (not to mention the occassional 'I've escaped, see if you can find me game!'). So this could relate to a part of ourselves (yep, the whole inner child thing,) or even someone else that we feel we need to care for. Even though it is a hamster, it could relate to a part of yourself - is there something you want to do that you are putting on hold - do you feel constricted in anyway in what you want to do? I'm thinking that maybe the significant part about your dream is the 'in the cage - small, out of the cage - big'. Maybe there are some 'horizons' that you want to broaden. Maybe something is stopping you from doing something. Maybe you are looking for an opportunity to do something.
Hope this is some help to you! Although I do believe that certain things mean similar things to different people, I often find that they don't make much sense to me. And I've never seen a dream book with 'hamster' either! Maybe try looking up 'pet'?
