just writing these words frightens me. as long as i can remember dreaming i have had a reacurrent dream of being tickled by my mother. it is pure pain when it happens and her face is very scary to me. almost zombie-animal eyes. so when i see her in my dream i know whats up. the dream has also had other people i knew or didnt know attacking me this way. it affected me so much as a child i would go to school crying because of theses dreams but i was to scared to tell anybody because i felt this would make them get me more, this has affected my personnal life as well. i cannot hug anybody at times because i feel they are one of them. sometimes i have to back away from my children when they put their arms around my ribs. i always have the feeling that today is the day when it is all going to really happen. has any one ever experienced such nonsense or am i crazy, if so then ive been crazy since i was around three because thats when this started.

Can you remember anyone ever tickling you in a way you didnt like? I remember older members of my family, my nan and pap, were always rough at tickling. I think they just that was the way it was supposed to be, and I guess they didnt know any different. I know that 'goodbye hug' was always dreaded by my brothers, sisters and me, because they would always catch you under the arms before you went... like it was supposed to be funny!!! Have a think. Did your mother play rough? or have a temper you knew about, but she never showed it? Have you kept something from her that you'd hate her to find out because you knew she'd be angry? If your relationship with your mother is OK now, could you maybe talk to her about it? Something needs to be done to break the cycle, and hopefully, stop the dreams. Good Luck x
