Last night, I dreamt of walking through the local park, and I met up with one of the mum's from school who was with her little lad, I told her I would walk on in front of her and meet her at the play park, when I eventually got there, there were lots of other parents milling around, and I looked for this woman, who I eventually spotted running out of the dirt track where I left her, and she said her little lad had just died, there and then due to an asthma attack, It really spooked me out when I awoke this morning, but what is really playing on my mind for me to keep dreaming of children,?? I am getting quite worried please someone, give me some insight!!! thanks, Jane.

do you know this woman for real, or was she just in the dream? If she is real, and really has an asthmatic kid, it might be prudent to ask her (if you have a kid same age) if she thinks it is a good idea to have the kids carry their medications with them, in case, say, they should have an episode. It is never quite as clear cut as the dream, but safe than sorry.

Being Stifled

October 30 2002, 12:48 PM

Hi,

hopefully it's not a premonition, otherwise the only thing I can offer is what asthma means on an emotional level.

Any kind of breathing problem is symbolic of being stifled and or suffocated by someone. In the case of Asthma, which is characterised by inflammation of the air passages. Anger, produces a burning sensation in the body, and repressed or unexpressed anger causes inflammation.

The organs of the chest are governed by the heart chakra, which is closely associated with the sacral chakra which is concerned with creativity.

When a breathing problem develops into asthma, then obviously the emotional problem has been around for some time. Asthma is usually a sign of creativity and self-expression being stifled in some way in a child.

A classic example is the parent who focuses on a good education being the be all and end all of life, whereas perhaps the child would make the next Picasso if encouraged and nurtured.
