I had a dog growing up whose name was Jaws (Jaws Paws etc) anyhow, he shows up in dreams occassionally, usually to comfort me in bad times, etc, or actually lead the way.... However,
Last night's dream was a jumble of stuff caused by eating too late in the evening but:
In the dream we were in my mother's house in UK (usually a negative setting) in the front room I think I was playing with my neices (who are in Arizona, there was lots of barbie stuff I think, anyhow, the dog showed up and was acting strangely, usually this dog is completely kind and trustworthy, I think I hugged the dog close and he growled or acted strangely making me think he was going to bite me and I swear to god the doc psychically communicated with me (or I understood exactly what the dog was saying) "C14".
The reason I put this dream on here is I have been puzzling over why the dog would get nasty, (dog has usually represented good new trustworthy people in my life) and that C14 would be something like an apartment number here in the states, then I just realised that "c14" is a form of plastic explosive, isn't it? what the hell was that about????

So ... the dog usually heralds the arrival of a good relationship. But in this dream he is snarly. But still he associated with new relationships. Is there a new love relationship in your life? If so, could the person be lying about their age?
you should mention that, we have a new neighbor who is reasonably good-looking, and we hang around a lot, and he has a lovely golden retriever (dumb as a plank) that doesnt get out enough. He has been over here every day to use the computer (borrow eggs, borrow this, borrow that....find a woman, y'know....) which is buggin my husband and me a little bit .....and actually Snarly is the right word to describe the situation right now....I have introduced him to various single friends of mine but I just found out he is only 25! (thought he was 27-29) so my friends are not too bothered with him. Plus he thinks he is fabulous, but doesnt want to spend any money whatsoever in pursuit of a woman....so snarly would be a good way to describe the atmosphere right now!
That is so interesting. I would take it further and find out a little more about him before you let him so close into your home and family circle. Are you in the UK? Here in the US we have relatively new laws requiring the local police to inform a neighborhood when a convicted felon has been released from prison and moved into a neighborhood. This "atmosphere" you are describing concerns me a little. Not to be morbid, but my sister married a man whose mother was killed by a man back in the late 1930's who was out of prison for killing his first wife. He moved into their community after being released from prison. She had lost her first husband to a heart attack. She had three small sons, my brother-in-law being only three at the time. This was during the Depression and money was scarce and times were hard. When this new fellow moved into town and befriended her, before these laws existed requring the police to inform a neighborhood, and needing help raising her three sons, she eventually accepted his proposal of marriage. Then over time his behavior became menacing and controlling and frightening so she did some research. When she learned of his past she plotted with a male friend to move away immediately. To make a long story short, the husband learned of this and thought she was leaving with another man. He did kill her, leaving her sons orphaned. My brother-i-law grew up in foster care, but grew up to be a wonderful and healthy man with the help of loving friends.
My point is, during today's times, we really can't afford to let strangers too close into our lives unless they have been introduced to us by people we have known for years who in turn have known the new person for years. He does sound strange. Where is he from? What is his work? Etc., etc., etc.
My subject "Universal Mind" ... I wrote that because with your C14 dream, it makes me really believe there is a universal mind that knows everything and uses these symbols to communicate with us, even if we don't know about them or ever even heard of them! I think Universal Mind is trying to communicate with you. Check this guy out a little more thorougly before you let him just drop by and such. Your husband isn't comfortable either. That is male intuition. My son can spot a player twenty times faster than I can. We'll be out and I'll be all impressed with someone and my son who is 27 will say "Mom, you are so naive! This guy is playing you." Guys can spot crap coming from other guys, or guys using the people they love. There is a book I haven't read but I want to read it. It has a title that is something like "Fear Can Save You" .. I think, something like that. It is written by an ex-policeman who teaches seminars on fear, the primordial element in each of us that we often second guess. His premise is that if you feel something is strange, it probably is. Check this guy out more. Like I said, I'm not trying to frighten you or be morbid at all. I've just had some first hand experiences, one in the Ukraine, where I didn't trust my instincts, and before the day was done someone had actually threatened my life. I was lucky to get out of that one. Like you, I trusted someone who on the surface seemed fine.
thank you, i appreciate the concern and know from experience where you are coming from, my psi and others psi has saved my life in the past. however, i think it was just the aggravation level of him being over here all the time that created a little atmosphere, we kinda gave him the push the other day and he has been cutting us some space and he sorta apologised for taking the computer for granted (it is so much closer than the one at his school to check his email etc) we are right next door and we take tax classes together right now. He is ok, he just has to grow out of being a bit smarmy, his daft dog is right here with me today. Drinking from my toilet!
Gotta say, there is something to the Dog (my dog) showing up yet growling at me, very strange,and the way he telepathically shot me the info "c14' was really bizarre. Still dont knwo what it means, could just be that when friendship is rushed like this situation, we rub up against each other sometimes. just last night i joked to my husband that the neighbor hit on me, and my husband said, "again?" thinking about it myself, the dog represents someone I usually trust, I went to hug it and it growled to warn me off, trying to tell me 'C14'. It was warning me away. I hope this is not some jumble of influences as a precursor to any kind of terrorist activity by anyone or thing that I usually trust in/take for granted........
I am convinced that C14 is some kind of military thing, but I know that c4 is plastic explosive, (reading military books recently by Andy McNab, very good by the way.) But waht is C14 - carbon dating relies on radioactivity - fallout - ah s**t I hope not.

Your gut seems to be telling you something about the C4 thing. Maybe you're right and C14 was as close as your psyche could get to expressing it. Bottom line, if it is a precognitive dream about fallout, etc., and your dream is telling you something about terrorists, I think we all just have to know without a doubt that we have to watch everyone, especially strangers in our midst. I hate to think like that. Ignorance is bliss and now we know how true that is. Ignorance IS bliss; knowledge is painful.
Like you said, the dog was warning you off. I take my dreams EXTREMELY seriously. I really do believe in spirit guides. Sometimes when I'm writing to a relative over the internet, someone I'm embroiled in a nasty issue with, I will labor to get my point across and suddenly the screen will just disappear! I've touched nothing that I'm aware of. I experience it as a power surge in the absence of a power surge. This tells me my spirit guide is trying to protect me from saying things that will make the situation worse. Then I sleep on it for a few days and when I write again, it comes out clearer, and differently and the results are better. Something is going on in our minds. The Bible is full of dream interpretation. I believe in it.
Just pay attention and invite more dreams. In fact, start writing them down then later you will see the full picture rather than the small mozaic pieces that you are now seeing one at a time.

You don't want just anyone using your computer. There is an international "listener", a mechanism that listens and reads and filters all internet transmissions. Neeoj, I believe the dog will die or be terminated. Question is what does the dog really represent and when. A question of war? Could the dog represent a country? We are at the threshold of a nasty war. It is on everybody's mind. I dreamed of a dog ( a big white poodle) it was being attacked by a small black dog which had the poodle by the right side of the throat. The poodle did not go down. The dog stayed leached to the neck. Then another dog looking the same attacked the other side of the neck. The poodle never moved, stood still as a statue. I turned my head could not watch. I knew there was another presence so I asked is it dead? The voice responded with Yes.
I'll tell ya now the only country represented by a poodle is France, which is 20 miles from UK, where my beloved pooch lived. (do americans call their dogs pooch?) There is a bit of a problem right now with migrant refugees, largely afghanis that have journeyed across Europe, being pushed along by each country not willing to accept them, including France, there is a large refugee camp at the southern coast and they have taken to sneaking onto the trains under the tunnel to get to UK, which somewhat accepts the refugees (not too happily - our system over there allows them free housing and money to get on tehir feet, however, like all nationalities, among the genuine refugees are crooks and bad guys, looking to make a quick killing, almost literally. Amongst the refugees are, I;m sure, people who sympathise or are involved with Al Quaeda. As as blowing up westerners seems to be their goal, that worries me, as I still care for my country.

I am fairly confident that we have the neighbor situation under control though, we will eventually split the DSL with him (as soon as he gets the damn equipment) so he is not knocking all the time. I was more concerned that the Arizona thing mixed with the very strong psychic yell of C14 from the mind of the DOG!! it was really wild, i was so puzzled that the dog would turn, (nasty) but it was a psychic communication within a dream, so strong that it woke me up. (like a specific instruction to remember this) You know how sometimes you hear something, and the voice is clear, and you realise that no-one actually said it, but obviously someone thought it a bit loud (yeah part time mind reader...) this dog shot me that info good and loud and deliberately - C14!!!

Hiya Neesoj, pardon me, but I have wanted to mention this for a long time, but have been away from my PC of late.
One of the aircraft I left out of one of my recent premonitions was the C-141 popularly known as the "Starlifter" by the USAF.
This is a wide body cargo plane.
I wasn't sure it existed, therefore did not include it in my list of possible suspects.
I have just looked it up on the web, and the C-141's configuration fits in rather ominously with what I saw breaking up into three major parts over a city and plunging to the ground causing widespread destruction.
Is it possible the C14 you keep seeing references to is the C-141 Starlifter?

Hi - I tuned out for a few days and when I returned it was to such a fascinating number of responses to your original dream. Clearly, we all believe the dream connection is a coded connection. Maybe if we all open up and ask for an answer, one of us will dream about it! Ask the question "what is the significance of C14 in this dream" just before going to sleep and ask your spirit guides to communicate with you through your dream state. You never know...

I'm still a believer that our subconscious mind is looking for symbols we can understand and that they are very much easier to understand than we make them. Again, the dog snarled C14, which is a scientific method to test the age of a fossil. You are not comfortable with your mother right? Even if you feel you understand her, perhaps she wants you to be a mind reader. The dog, who is otherwise friendly, snarles a code to suggest you find your Mother's true age, i.e., how old she "feels inside her body" which is where we really live, not how old she actually is chronologically. Perhaps your Mother is feeling old and is angry at you for what "she" perceives as a lack of understanding on your part for her age related problems. Is that a possibility? With the unstable political atmosphere, we are all sensitive to the implications of C4, but that is not what the dog snarled. Think about it. Any issues with your Mother's health, age, age sensitivity, pain, anything that would make an otherwise friendly person snarl? Have you noticed that when a loving pet snarles it is usually because they are hutt and we don't know it. Could your Mother have a health problem no one is aware of? Could that be why she is difficult to be around? Still just pondering this. It is truly an interesting dream.
you are such a nice person you will be horrified for me to tell you that there was never a time when my mother did not 'snarl' at us kids on a daily basis! It is just her nature, and as you can see, I can be equally harsh, so dont fret about her.
I had a friend whose father was "dying" of cancer, 13 yrs ago, so she rushed her wedding etc etc. I saw her last yr on the train, she said she was off to see her Mum and Dad. I said, "you mean yr Mum and StepDad? - I mean, wasnt your Dad dying, at yr wedding?" She said, "yeah, ....he's STILL dying...." I said, "Oh, well, how is yr Mum? Last time I visited my mum she drove me spare(crazy)and wanted to be along everywhere I went (but I had two days in UK and she moves sooo slowly..... When I got to Chester town, I had had enough, so I sent her home within a half hour of getting to town. I felt very guilty later, and told my sisterinlaw, the sweetest person in the world. I noticed my SIL shaking, cos she had started to cry laughing, she said, dont feel bad, your sister and I have been trying to get a break for years, you've only been off the plane for 24 hrs and you managed to send her packing!!
I am truly more concerned about the public safety issue, if this Dream warning is to do with terrorism of some kind, and as I read the posts once again, I 'see' my other dream, where a missile-like tanker was floating overhead, just prior to an attack of some kind, I am just hoping because I cannot connect the dots sufficiently that all the dreams simply mean that I FEAR war, not FORSEEING it.
Maybe you're right. Maybe the missile like tanker overhead is a symbol for the sense of impending war that is "looming" above us all. Hope you're right that it is simply a fear dream, not a precognitive dream.
Oh my word, what an interesting dream, I really hope its not precognitive, about war in Iraq or terrorists, I know nothing about explosives or war or anything so I cant say anything about your dream, but the responses were so interesting. Whatever it means, your, otherwise lovely dog, snarled at you for a reason, he wants you to take notice. One day it will fall into place. Thanks Diane, thats a lovely thing to say, I hope he returns home safely too, especially for my mum (whos lovely) and for my sister in law (whos just as lovely) and my nephew (whos even lovelier!) hes only 2 years old and we are all very close. Thats lovely, its so awful to think of any war, so many innocent people on both sides being injured or killed unnecessarily, I would feel awful because I had a major row with him a few weeks ago, the first one 31 years, believe it or not, I always get ion with my bro, and then we have a major row! Typical! but were ok, hes great and I love him loads!!!

When watching the news the other day I saw coverage of the inspectors in Iraq, looking for...whatever.
One of them was scouring the inside floor of a building with a machine that seemed to be detecting what was beneath the surface. I was suddenly hit with your, now famous, C14 enquiry.

i keep thinking about this sars virus being somthing to do with chemicles being released, germ warfare ect i know its quite possible for a mutant strain ect to do this much damage but what are the chances of a link anyone else feel its just coiencidental it gets me that i know it came from an apartment building( reportadly) but why are there not more doctors and nurses infected hospitals theres no reports of hospitals being quaranteened that i have seen and it does bring to mind the case of leigeonairs desiese just does not add up propperly to me
