I know this isnt a dream, but I wandered if anybody else has these experiences. I quite often hear voices in my head telling me things, but because i'm usually so busy i'm not tuned in properly plus i'm still learning anyway. I heard a mans voice talking to me the other night while I was in bed but I couldnt make out what he was saying, so I decided the next night I would listen carefully and answer them and see if I could have a conversation with this unseen spirit (I never get scared)Anyway, last night, this is what I heard from a woman, 'we're all praying for you over here in paradise'! I asked who she was and what she meant but I think I was concentrating too hard and didnt get anything back. I havent said anything to anybody but I feel as though something is gonna happen in my life and I dont know what (Idont want to know until it happens) I wont say what, but something has happened and I feel it is for a reason. I havent told any of my friends although I usually do, as I darent get too hopeful, too many bad things have happened. Is this unseen woman on my side and giving me guidance? Sorry its not a dream but everybody on this site is so lovely and sometimes its easier to talk to people you dont know. Any similar experiences id love to hear about love shell xxx
I get that sort of thing just when I am about to go to sleep at night. Last night in fact, I heard my Gran's voice clear as day telling me to put my shirt on. I was in bed in my birthday suit, what can I say? She also said she was beside the bed. I looked and she wasn't there. The odd thing is, my Gran is currently in hospital dying from cancer. I sometimes hear mens voices saying odd things like "It's not right.." and sometimes it's like they are giving me messages that seem important but I cannot always remember what they are. I hear babies crying, people arguing, screaming, and all that, and it is a quiet neighbourhood, I just hear these voices as I am about to drop off. I also see faces of people, like flashes and sometimes they are doing things like getting on a train, or dancing or something. In fact last night I had a particularly disturbing vision/dream flash thing, about a woman dressed in old fashioned clothes, a bit like out of 1914 or something like that, she was very well off, a rich sort you might say. She looked very odd indeed though, a kind of look in her eye that made her seem unhuman, entranced she was, and what she was doing, was this: taking the hand of a young man and boarding something. Could have been a boat, could have been a plane, could have been a train, could have been a car, I don't know. But she was scary, she just had this look about her... anyway, I asked my dad about this kind of thing years ago, and he says it is when your mind is in the alpha state, you become susceptable to these messages. I think they are linked to EVP Electronic Voice Phenomena, where tape recorders can pick up on disembodied voices in the room where they are.
You have locked into the spirit of a woman that sank on the titanic as she was then, and the reason she is coming to you is to help you. Listen to what she shows you, I know that sounds daft for I can see her too. In taking her visions you will see what she is showing you and why. Do not argue with it.
Your gran is already being comforted with the other side in preparation and has a calmness of seeing these longer lasting glimpses of that radiant golden lit garden in the tunnel of sleep. She is transferring her energy to you to assure you of this fact before the golden curtain draws to a close and she steps over on tip toe willingly. Let her breath in these moments and know that you share them with her for the hands will be with you as feathers in a blue tranqil pillow is said.
hey shellsal if you go down the list to my post of faces and read my first post after the main one you will find i have these voices too i have been having them for ages now and the same as you i am trying to take them further i just wanna say about your post please dont take everything as a negative hearing a voice saying they are praying for you ,ight just be spirit way of helping you along with every day stuff from somthing as silly as praying for you because the toilet's gonna back up or praying for you because you have a test or somthing round the corner i was tols as you will read i had a warning about 36 hours after seeing a dean body and nothing happened as yet though i just wondered as my sis got rushed into hospital this morning small op needed but she's fine anyway read that post see if you can understand it about voices and i'm sure i have already posted a post named voices also
Hiya everyone, thanks for all your responses, i'm glad i'm not the only one who hears voices. Yes its the same with me that I hear them in the night or when I wake up, I cant in the day cos of kids, work, shopping .......! and cant relax! Last night a mans voice said to me 'success!' I then heard a conversation between 2 women but couldnt hear it properly. I managed to tune in longer than I normally I do and really concentrated. Not long ago I heard a mans voice say something to me and in my head I said 'what was that you said it sounded rubbish to me' and as clear as anything he replied back 'so you think we talk gibberish then do you!' in an irish voice. I nearly had a conversation with him but then it went, I think I try to hard! see ya love michelle xxx
I remember your dream about faces and the 36 hours. Sorry to hear about your sister, hope shes ok now, what was the 36 hours, was she ill for 36 hours or did it happen in 36 hours from the dream! P.s. do you know of any sites on mediumship as thats what i'm really interested in doing. I'm getting there slowly but surely, a lot of the time in dream state, but I would really like to chat to people who are learning/have experiences of mediumship. Does anybody here know a site or put me in touch with anyone, thanks it would be much appreciated love shell xx
Thats so funny about your Gran telling you to put your shirt on when you are in the nude! That generation could be quite prudish couldnt they! If my Great Grandma ever comes to me in spirit its usually to tell me off or to do exactly as she says, she was quite strict but lovely in real life, so I know she means business! love shell xx
Hiya, I too hear voices, i remember once, i asked my neighbour if she was ok after her argument with her other half late one night, and she said they had been out that particular night, i usually hear them late at night when everything is quiet, i can also hear someone shout my name, and many a time, i have gone into the room where hubby is and asked him what he wants me for, and he's said he's not shouted me! i think that it maybe one of my grandads, as it is a male voice, also, i hear music every so often, i heard it the other night, and the house next door is empty, so i know it isn't coming from there, and it is too "faint" for it to be from a car or in the street. it's weird isn't it? but it doesn't frighten me, as i know if it is the other side, then they are looking out for me, (hopefully)!! I too hear someone calling my name. In fact once when I was about six years old, we had a metal springy double bed, remember those? Anyway, it was like the springs spoke to me one night as I was dropping off to sleep. I heard my name in a sort of metallicy way, as though it was coming from the springs. I will never forget that.
no nothing happened within 36 hours and i can't link my sis's accident to any thing 36 it was a freak accident my younger sis lives at home again ( part time ) after split with long term boyfriend and my mum's dog stood on her foot and took the skin off down to the tendons and bone,( his claws that had been recently clipped were very sharp) he is a great dane and he is foot to head almost 4' tall and very protective of my mum and step dad so much so you cant put your arms around them or give them a kiss in front of him as he thinks your gonna hurt them but a big baby at heart.
but I have heard my name called on occassion, it is usually my legal name so I know that it is an old connection, liek when a friend was in difficulties, I heard her Reach Out this way....
