A number of painters, photographers etc., produced images prior to the September 11 attacks which appear to have been influenced by precognitive knowledge (in most cases not consciously realized) of the tragedy.

Below, for example, is an unfinished painting by Charles Wm. Burwell III, painted in the spring of
2000. The painting was seen and photographed by a number of people before the September 11 attacks.



The Oakland band, Coup, released their new album on July 19, 1991. The front cover eerily depicts the World Trade Center Towers exploding in smoke. The cover had to be pulled and replaced with a new cover.



The image below - on a calendar - is either based on a premonition of September 11 - or actual foreknowledge of plans for the attacks.

The caption for the month of September reads: "I am supported by Allah, to die for Allah".
The image for the month of September shows a
passenger plane crashing, with Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty in the background. The calendar, which was printed in Egypt, was published in May, a full three months before the September 11 attacks.
The discovery of the calendar and has caused an uproar in the Dutch town of Almere, Netherlands.

The calendar was distributed at an Islamic school in the Netherlands long before the World Trade Center attacks. The Mayor was alerted to the calendar's existence in the local Islamic school in the town of Almere, and immediately notified the Dutch internal security service (BVD) about the strange coincidence. The BVD is now investigating the matter.

wow - especially the album cover...

...just totally amazed at the similarity of the creature pictured and the one in a dream I had 3 days prior to 9/11...but the dream was more explicit and carried me far more into the actual events that happened in the whole arena of events that day. I had no idea.....

Interesting to see the other images above. They're quite good. I drew this picture using PC Paintbrush when I was studying at college. It was in 1997 sometime. Basically I had been having some nightmares about various plane crashes after I had watched a program on Channel 4 called Black Box. The dreams were quite upsetting and one stuck in my mind more than others. Being the kinda lazy kid I was instead of doing my college work one day I drew the picture of the dream I had the night before.

When I left college I saved all my work to disk and took it with me and put it on my computer here at work for safe keeping.

I actually re found the picture about 6 months after the 9/11 attacks, i'd totally forgotten that i'd drawn it. I was a bit freaked once I saw it again. I printed it out and showed it to my mum and she remembered me showing it to her when I originally drew it and showed her it with my work. She remembered thinking how horrible it was. Also a friend of mine remembered me doing it as he was at college at the same time. The picture has the original date that I saved it I think. Most people I've shown it to have a muted response and i'm sure they think i'm just winding them up, but... it's up to you to decide. Why would someone want to kid about that anyway?

I've not done anything like this since or before and i'm 29 now, so i'm thinking it was just pure ... fluke? Still confused, but i'm glad I found a place on the internet of the same subject matter to be viewed by open minded people.

It's just, of all the predictions, premonitions whatever that I have seen about said attacks, i'm just chuffed that mine was one of the more convincing ones, and like that great actor Derek Acorah, I say that with total respect.

scarey, if it was drawn when you say it was then thats pretty amazing - have you ever had any other experience of premonition?

Not really had any other premonitions. It was a one off I guess. I mean... yours is a typical response, and totally understandable. I think I would be just as sceptical if it was someone else, in fact I probably wouldn't believe it and would think it was a sick jock which I do fear a bit. There's not much I can do to prove that I did it when I did really. I just right clicked on the picture and it actually gives the date that I uploaded it to the server which was 29th March 2004, tried again and it's todays date so it obviously changes the date when you upload.

If any FBI or forensic people out there (or anyone for that matter) want me to mail you with the original pic with the [let me have a look] 02/10/1997 date stamp, just mail me at the address above. I think that's the only proof I have and my word, which doesn't account to much to some stranger on a web forum.

I don't believe anyone would have anything positive to gain by faking something like that. How could I really proove it?

in addition:

at the time of drawing I didn't know about the world trade centre. If someone had asked me where the WTC was I couldn't have told you. I probably saw it on TV and thought 'cor, big skyscrapers' and stored it conciously. I do remember though that the silouhetted building in the middle was supposed to be the Empire State Building and I knew that was in NY though, so...

You can see between the towers near the top (I can remember doing this) like a rope where people were supposed to get across to the other tower to safety. Obviously in real life this wouldn't be possible.

Also the emergency slides (yellow) had inflated and are hanging out the plane with people sliding down them. There are also lots of Fire Engines at the foot of the towers near the entrances. I find that bit quite sad when I think back to seeing pictures of fire engines crushed in the rubble.

Why I drew an American football pitch in front is anyones guess.

it will surface again when U need it. Be aware, that most people are Unaware..taht they have it. You've got his pic to prove it tho!!

sadly, unless you are a real one in a million, it tends to be random. Mine is, and interspersed iwth other lifeshaping events (like, family )

hey John, I wasnt saying you werent telling the truth, I believe you. I was just commenting on how amazing it was. But you dont have to prove anything to me or anyone else. As long as you know when you did it thats all that matters. I think everyone on heres had some sort of precognitive experience, and theres no way any of us could prove it. I think I would be really scared if I did anything like that. I like dreams coz although you might get messages the memory fades a bit, not so bad

In some sense I believe this song predicts or fortells events of 9/11. The album of which this song is off was released on 15th of May 2001. The title of the album is called Lateralus. Although the song can be interpreted different ways.
