Recurrent dreams

Hi:

I get recurrent dreams of the same person. Although they are all different, they are all about the same person. I hear that your dreams are avenues which you can tap into your subconscious, but how do I know how to interpret them? How do I know I'm not over-analyzing them?

They say that dreams are symbolic, but occasionally my dreams are literal! For example, I dreamt that I lost my job, and in the following week, I did!

I'd love to hear from someone....

many explanations

so feel free to post any details of any dream, and between us we will all chime in with our thoughts as to what it might mean...

yes, if you are the kind of person that can remember your dreams, then as you see, some are simple and literal....

and again, some are really whacked out and need someone else who doesnt know you to read the dream, and put down their impressions, sort of a psychic translation of the elements of the dream...

Neesoj (welcome.)

Hi Neesoj:

How do you interpret your own dreams?

it varies

but most important is to write down all details that I remember....any little thing, from haircolor to locations to random people who show up in dream...

my first impressions after a dream I also write down but what i find is that later on a reread or when others give it a go for interpretation, their impressions (which come without my own preconcieved notions) are more enlightening.

Hindsight of course is usually 20/20, but is not exactly prediction...

For example a dream I had a while ago about chasing a job up high escalators and then finding a room with three slutty looking woemen sitting aroudn reading magazines and sort of ignoring me, then seeing my reflection in the mirror with pink (unuitable for biz) hair.....i now realise that twas the atmosphere at the bank job i had, everyone knew they had little to do but charm their bosses, nobody wanted to rock teh boat, and I was as usual, just a little to much alive for hte atmosphere...I mean, I cracked a joke whithout permission!! its the difference between squeezing your hair into a bun each daym and looking repressed, or lettnig it be curly and loose, and hterefore 'wild'. that was my take on it anyway. Other dreams are now coming to pass in mild ways...
