i recently had a premonition, and my premonitions always come true. but this one didn't. this led me to wonder about the nature of time and if we have any control over our destinies or if everything that is going to happen has already happened and even if we know what is going to happen we still can't change it. any opinions?

Josie, sometimes it is good that premonitions fail. Consider the nos. 1-6 and throw that dice -there are six possible outcomes in the "future". Well actually, there are a lot more - you could for instance lose that dice nd never know which number came up. The dice could be lost in any number of ways.

Hi Josie:

I don't think the future is pre-determined and I think the reason why we have premonitions is because we sense the vibes of the probabilities to come.

Our free-will plays a deciding factor into the outcome of the future as well.

Maybe it was a good thing that the premonition didn't occur. A premonition could be a warning as a protection mechanism - a survival mechanism.

Josie, it occured, perhaps you placed a time-limit on your premonition and so feel it has not come to be ?

as you know we all dream a lot and sometmies the pictures are so strong they ar premonitory dreams (think i just made that word up? you know hat i mean..) anyhow, I also thinkg that although there are sometimes evil plans afoot that currently the worlds military/uncover operations are constantly pre-empting stuff...

like we all dreamed of underground poisoning and explosions, then they bust a lot of men in London with a ton of ricin poison and explosive...before they do whatever they were planning...

I read that events about to happen are experienced already on one of the astral planes and that people who are sensitive and travel the planes in their sleep get a glimpse of them. Bad things tend to make more of a lasting mpression which is why we remember them, whereas we might forget the good things. Perhaps, we get a "too good to be true" feeling, so wipe it away as a dream which we can immediately forget because its not as important as something bad that could happen in the future. As to the timeing of it. I agree with neesoj. Learn to harness travelling the planes and watching the future events in the collective conscience. At least some of them must be avoidable. But then, that thought terrifies me if bad things have been read and stopped, why are we missing the huge things? Like 9/11 and Beslan? Perhaps things like that are just so inconceivable by our imagination that there is no way we can accept it as a real concept?

Or perhaps what you saw did come to pass, just not exactly hhow you expected it?
