I am a mother of 3 children and I dreamt I was man reading from a scripture in a religous place,dressed in a robe reading in foreign language. I was very disturbed by this dream as I do not know any other language other than the English language so I wrote some words down the following morning, ones that I could remember (et Carpien ??? and others which I now cannot remember) I was fascinated and looked on the internet to find out if I was stupid or whether the words existed and if so what they meant. I was dreaming that I was reading in LATIN ??? and that I truly was reading a religious scripture of some kind This info i looked up connected my dream to the Byzantine era.
What does this mean????

Hi,thank you for your reply. My initial feelings upon waking were that I definately felt like I must have been a man. I recognised myself in this man, I just felt strange but connected in some way. It felt like, How could that be me, I am a woman? that is what I felt. I did not feel scared just WOW that's the only way I could describe the intense feeling and that I was in a different time, but definately the past.
You were once a holy man in another life. You have not fulfilled your duties as promised. This dream is a reminder that you must take your life more seriously!

I often wonder how in the ages before our mindnumbing television people would martyr themselves for religion or other things they believed in, like having visions and telling people and being burned as a witch...where did they get this strength of conviction, i live is US where people will elect a president if he promises a tax cut....or free icecream it seems....
all that happens these days if you speak out about waht you see/feel is people treat you as a kook....
Actually Nee - you confuse me in the sense that I cannot quite figure if you know what you are talking about or if you a downplaying the spiritual sometimes.
I would like to think that persons communicating with others on matters such as these have good intentions and some are maybe more enlightened than others and can therefore shed some light for those who seek.

1) my intentions are always positive, however cos I am comfortable dumping the realities in there, some see my realist attitude as a 'negative' - nope, i just know that I have live ont his plane, and fit in with some narrow minds...all day long in the real world we live and work in.
2)I have no choice whether to take it seriously, dead people try to talk to me, for chrissakes!! but not often fortunately.
Have you found any way to temper waht you see/feel with the realities of everyday life? I take it all with a grain of salt....and an onion hte kitchen counter...and wolfsbane....and still I see stuff. go figure.
dont confuse teh ability to 'see' with being 'enlightened'
enlightenment to me means being able to accept all points of view, however narrow minded some people are. cuz we hae to live with them. I wonder if the next place after the physical body dies, has a special section for people in denial, who keep bumping into ethereal walls, insisting they are not dead yet?? cuz they dont belive in this 'stuff'??
