but you were the first to actually apply that to the program.
As a side note, the "real" program has a higher possible offset "INT(RND*256)" and wraps at the boundry of 255, for what difference that makes. I am still fairly sure this will be a moderatly effective means of securing what it is meant to secure, which is a password for a printing app. If I place the encrypted data inside the segment of binary data used for other purposes, it should be difficult to find and decrypt. The danger lies in a user being able to use a valid password to discover the encryption technique.
