OK, so I never saw the first one.

I kinda thought that maybe it wouldn't be so good coz it wouldn't be what i pictured when I read the books (which, can I say, I did very much enjoy - but i still don't like all the hype about HP - it drives me crazy).

And then, when I decided that maybe I'd not mind seeing the film, I basically couldn't be bothered. hehehe.

But I saw some interview with the girl that plays Hermione on TV - and omg i just wanted to SHOOT her!!! She was sooooooooooooooooo full of herself, and thought she was like 30 or something. Even mum was like 'who's she? she's very annoying!' - and she usually tells me off if i just like make decisions like that! hehehehe.

Anyhoos, dunno if i'll go see this film.... i mean, it's not like i'm gonna be able to get to the cinema anyway - i planned for so long to go and see spiderman with my friend, but we could only go when MY parents could take me and when she was free, and y'know, my parents may not go out to work (coz they run our holiday cottages which are next door) but they can't just drop everything and drive us our 40 mins to the cinema, hang around for 2hrs or whatever, then 40mins back again. Grrrrrrr. And my friend never offered for HER parents to take us.

Needless to say, we never went to see spiderman.

and then the same thing happened the other week with asterix. pah.

so i think maybe it'll be a while till i see any harry potter on screen...

TIM GOES POTTY FOR HARRY POTTER

TALK about a nice guy.

We wouldn't have picked rocker Tim Freedman for a Harry Potter fan, but it
seems that the frontman of popular Aussie band The Whitlams is quite taken
by the boy wizard.

The musician showed his generous nature this Christmas by donating $300
worth of Harry Potter books to the Salvation Army through the Kmart Wishing
Tree.

"I was happy to lend a hand to families in need this Christmas," he said.

"It's nice to know that such a simple act will help some kids who would
otherwise go without at Christmas time."

Apparently the top-selling children's books have been the most popular
present donated this year to the Wishing Tree, with the Salvation Army,
struggling to meet the demand on its services, hoping to receive more Potter
donations.

Harry Potter & The Chamber of Secrets

December 18 2002, 10:13 PM

Ok, so I saw "Chamber of Secrets" last night, and sure, yeh I liked it, but it wasn't as good as the first one. A bit yucki (the spiders) here and there ... but i did enjoy it.
Yay for Harry & Hermione (she's cool!) and Ron.
