OMG!!!!!!!!!!!

IT WENT FANTASTICALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had to go alone though!! I can't quite believe it, but i tried TEN friends, and none of them could come with me!!! PAH!!! All of them were busy (well, the last one that I phoned an hour before the thing started, was out but still) except for one who was gonna come but then phoned and claimed that she was "ill". Oh c'mon, puh-leeeeeese, like i've never used THAT before in my life....

So, anyways, yeah I went by myself!! I felt SO sick before I went (like literally standing in the bathroom breathing deeply to settle my stomach coz i felt like crap) - and I couldn't quite believe i was there when i got there. I just stood out in the cold as dad drove off thinking 'ok.... and now i'm here i HAVE to go through with it... help!!!'

Anyway, I'll try and keep this post as short as possible for the mo (Bec hunny, if you want more details just ask and I'll very happily provide you with some tomorrow!!)

OK, so I went into the common room where the thing was being held, and it was FULL of people - but there were about 3 rows at the back that were empty so i sat by the wall on the one closest to the front (but it was still a long way back if you get what i mean) and then craned my neck trying to find Joe and this other v winsome little guy i was friends with last year (who i called Chocolate Boy coz he once gave me chocolate - and sympathy coz i was on cruches!! yay! hehe). Anyways, I couldn't see either.

Then i saw that this guy had just like bounded up to 2 other guys standing in the aisle between the chairs, and i looked and YAAYYYYY IT WAS JOE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Looking as adorable as ever - omg, it's that grin!!!!!! (Coz i mean, i admit that Sexy Cricket Boy is more goodlooking at him to look at i guess - although obviously i think Joe's the most gorgeous thing on earth, but i'm trying to be impartial here - but Joe's smile is just....... i dunno, it has a magical quality to it! )

And then LOL - Joe's mum and other family members (not too sure who coz i was trying to keep my head down so the teachers there didn't see me and start to wonder why i was there, so i wasn't looking around at them) came and SAT NEXT TO ME!! LOL. How ironic! (or something). And then i was worried that Joe was gonna come and sit in the empty chair between me and his mum (who looked very nice btw), but he went and sat at the front with his friends (he hadn't seen me yet).

But YAY coz he sat directly in front of me (just a long way in front) so sitting looking forward naturally, i was looking right at the back of his head Woohoo.

Anyways, so the prize giving thing went on for ages (sooo many A's and B's - coz they were going alphabetically! and i had to wait for F for Choccy Boy, and then M for Joe...)

And LOL coz the teacher calling out the ppl was saying what they're up to now they've left school. And LOL - Joe went to Leeds Uni... for a month. Then decided he didn't like it so left again! heheheh. But he's reapplying for next year. Awwwww. (now i HAVE to go to Leeds Uni so that he's only 1 year ahead of me... LOL...) Plus later he was talking to some guy near to me, and i heard him say that he's playing "for Pickering's team" now.. hmm... (Pickering = my local town btw) and i'm guessing it's football coz i don't know what other teams pickering has, plus i know that he plays footy (due to other detective work done by me over the past year, lol).

Plus, when he went up to get his exam certifcates and his 2 prizes (he got them all at the same time) the teacher said something to him like 'i see you managed to find the english lit department ok?' and lots of people chuckled(hmm.... ok, so that went whoosh over my head..) and then Joe replied with something i didn't catch but everyone who heard it (ie: all his friends at the front) BURST out laughing, so i was just like 'yay!!!!!!' hehehehe. So whatever he said, good for him.

And then eventually the whole thing was over (awwww, the teacher said the nicest stuff about Choccy coz he got the prize for the student that progressed the most - awwwww. and when the teacher said 'and he ended up doing really well' joe was sitting nodding his head in earnest agreement, and i was like YAY for my boys being friends hehehe) - and we were allowed to mingle.

And so I sat still for a while, then stood up, and i generally hovered for a long time. And then ARGH, one of the teachers came up to me and was inquiring as to why i was there "just wanted to see the action?" she asked. And i was like "oh umm.. yeah.. i've just come to see a couple of people.." and she was like, "oh you were friends with some ppl in this year then?" and i was like, "ahhh.... sort of yeah..." hehehe. I got more and more vague as i went on coz I was watching Joe walk in my direction. LOL.

ANYWAY - so this is the good part. Eventually I caught him (YAAAYYYYYY!!!) and he looked at me and grinned (swoon! lol) and i said hi and he said hi back, and i asked how he was. And he said he was ok and added "i've got lots of prizes" and then flicked through his 2 certificates and 3 envelopes going "wooooooooooooooooooooo" as he did so! LOL. So i was like 'yeah, you did really well' and he grinned again (he does a lot of this - huzzah!!) And then I asked what he grades he'd actually got for his exam, so he showed me on his certificate and was like '2 A's and a B' in a really proud way so i was like 'awww, yay, well done!' (I knew he'd got two A's - i really am a bit of a Nancy Drew bec, you're right - but i didn't know what he'd got for drama/theatre studies, so that's good to know he got a B. no one in his year got an A for that, so yeah, good for him!)

And then (AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW) he grinned at me and said 'how did you do in your GCSEs?' !!!! YAAAAAYYYYYYYY!! THAT'S SO SWEET OF HIM TO ASK ME! YAAYY!! Hehehehehehe. (I tell you - I'm SO easily pleased - i just like to know people think of me... lol.. awwwwww) and so i told him (6 A*s, an A and 2 Bs) and he looked mighty impressed hehehehe. YAY.

And then he was like 'I've lost my parents' in a really pathetic "and-i-don't-know-what-to-do" way, and then he said 'so i'd better go and find them..... was good to see ya' and (swoon!) grinned again, and then he disappeared out of the door in search for his mumsy.

Hehe, and then later he came back in and had a convo with some guy near to me and i overheard about him playing footy nearby now, and then he went and stood in the middle of the room and goes 'i've lost my parents!!' in an even more pathetic, louder way! LOL. Awwwwwwwwwww. And then his mum appeared in front of him and he was like 'ooh! there you are!' heheh. Awwwwwwww, yay. Reunition (is that a word?) of mother and son.

And then I had a REALLY sweet convo with choccy boy (hehehe, the first thing he said to me was 'hi - i'm not still "chocolate boy" by any chance am i?" ' LOL!!! And i was like.. umm.. yes i'm afraid you are, sorry but it's gonna stick forever now... lol. And then he gave me some encouraging words about 6th form (ie: if i fail this year - like he did - don't worry coz if i work hard next year it'll be ok) which was really sweet, then he insulted our Xmas decorations in the common room (i pointed out the bits i'd helped to put up! lol) and then we said goodbyes.

And while I was standing talking to Chocs, about 5 guys walked by - one of which was Joe. And he shot me a reaaalllyy sweet liddle goodbye grin as he went by. Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

So, my evening was ACE. I can't stop grinning. LOL.

Thanks for keeping your fingers crossed for me bec - it obviously did the trick

I'm really happy u got to see and chat to him Lou, but I'm majorly disappointed that there was no circus career he'd left behind!

But YAY that you did see him Lou, and I'm very proud of u for going all by yourself!

"i got lots of prizes - wooooooooooooooooo"

LOL that's now one of my fave ever memories of him, LOL. It was just soooooo funny and sweet the way he did it, awwwwwwwwwwwwww.

And argh, coz i can't get it out of my head that he's still in the local area............. coz i've been thinking since september that he's been in wales, fossil finding (blame fon for that image) and now i find that actually he's playing football in my town.... hmmmmmmmmmmmm.....

lol - i looked up Pickering FC online yesterday, couldn't find anything about it except for about the Junior team. Oh well. I then scoured this weeks local paper through all the sports bit, and he wasn't mentioned in the write up of Pickering's latest game... and i went through the rest of it to see what other teams it is that he could be in (but i'm 99% sure it's gotta be footy) and there didn't seem to be much/anything at all.

"was good to see ya" awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!

(sorry... i'm just bored and have been everywhere else on the net, so thought i'd come back and post here a bit more! LOL)

I knew there was a reason that Ron's song 'Smile' always made me think of Joe.... "I love your smiiiiiilllllllllllle.."
