I've not actually seen either film yet (my friend's gonna lend me the first so that I can go see the 2nd one with her if I like it) and ok, I think maybe I might like it.... but I can't imagine myself going overboard. So I might have to retract that if I watch it and suddenly find myself obsessed... but really, I don't see it happening....
Plus, can anyone explain the Orlando/Elijah thing here??? I just don't see ANYTHING in either of 'em..... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

As for LOTR, really don't see the fuss either! I've seen the first one, and its ok.....but if it wasnt for the little irish hobbits (MMMMMM IRISH) I wouldnt have liked it.....

Yeah.. tiz all a bit... ummmm.... over the top. Jeez, my english teacher started going on about it today and I said 'i've not seen either of the films' and she was like 'OMG!! HOW??' and i was like 'really it's not that big a deal..... has anyone seen 'Harvey'?' lol... but that didn't work, they all started talking about LOTR and i was like 'hmmmmmmmmmmmm'
My problem is that in general I don't like things that are THE thing of the moment.... I seem to have this fear of conforming with the majority (lol) so yeah, this is why I just have this instant feeling that I don't like it. But i will watch the first film and see how I go.......

If it's SOOOOOO good, then how come on soft drink bottles, they are giving $2 off the movie?!?!?! And it's not as if you have to "win" it - you automaticaly get it, just by buying the drink - all you have to do if peel off the label and take it with you and you get $2 off. This sends me the msg that they must be needing MORE ppls to go see it! Not popular enough!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!

BUT... Frodo and Sam rock!!!! I adore the Hobbits.....and Viggo Mortensen - just put them in a movie where they can all be cute and I'll be happy!

At least the hype about HP is called for! :P But seriously, other than cute irish accented hobbits, I really dont see the fuss about it. Cant they just like magic it away? Not to rain on the HP parade - but I reckon those films are overrated too! I LOVE the books - some of the best books I've ever read - but I just don't like the films for some reason...cept for Harry himself..he's a little cutie!
