Bri,I almost killed myself the other night for you!!!
Coz there was a Robbie thing on TV, so I had your vid in (still waiting to be finished! sorry!!) waiting for the show to start, and I was all organised.
Then I was sitting in the other room watching the TV, waiting for the show to start (there's only a vid on the tv that's in the wrong room for comfy watching). And I was so busy singing along with the just-before-the-show-starts background music (y'know where the voice-over guy tells you what's about to start) that I forgot to run through and press record.
Then like a second before the show started i started yelling 'OMG!! I FORGOT TO PRESS RECORD!!!!!' so I got up and RAN into the other room - and no lights were on. But with the door open, i could see my way to the video machine easily so i didn't bother wasting time by turning the things on.
Unfortunately, the door had swung shut by the time I'd dived onto the floor by the video machine. So I was in pitch black, and couldn't see a thing on the machine. But I know where the record button is in general, so I stabbed desperately at where I thought it would be (I could hear robbie music coming in from the tv in the next room!! I WAS MISSING IT!!)
And LOL!!!! I pressed
REWIND instead!!!!!
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! STOP STOP STOP STOP STTTTOOPPPPP!!!!!!"
I DESPERATELY hit as many buttons as I could until eventually the thing stopped!!
I then had a problem in that, coz it had rewound, I had to fast forward to the RIGHT PLACE again so that you didn't miss the 3-seconds-long thing that's before it (coz you wouldn't want to miss it! lol)
So then I tried to switch the lamp on by the TV - but it wouldn't work!!! So I jumped up and BOUNDED across the room again to switch on the main lights. And I stood very heavily on a brass doorstop shaped like an elephant (with VERY POINTY bits on it!!)
"OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!! DAAAMMMMIIIITTT!!!!!"
However, I got the lights on, dashed back across the room, switched the TV on, pressed play and fast forward till I got it to the right bit (which took about 3 seconds so it wasn't too bad!) And then EVENTUALLY managed to press record.
Phew!!!!!!!
So, yeah, you'd BLOODY BETTER APPRECIATE THAT SHOW!! LOL!! I'm sure you will.
And BEC - I keep forgetting what I'm gonna tell you...
OH YES!!!!! There's a show at the mo, a documentary, about an undertakers. Apparently it's the real-life version of 6 Feet Under. Just thought the existance of the show might interest you
