Ok, the AFL have to be kidding right? Every year Port get to go all over Oz like they're touring or something, so I thought this year might be different...apparently not! I get that coz there's more Vic teams, we travel more...but do we REALLY have to go to Perth twice every year????? When some teams don't go at all??????? ANd if we're going to Perth twice a year, do we also have to go to Brissy - YEP! And if we have to go to Perth twice, and Brissy once, surely we won't have to go to Tassie...ooops YES we do! And just coz the boys don't have enough frequent flyer points - why not chuck in a trip to Darwin??? to be followed less than a week later by a trip to Melbourne. Tis an absolute friggin joke. Our CEO, polite bugger that he is, called it a "challenging" draw, but I have many more appropriate words for it!

And WTF is with having 8 of our 1st 12 games at home? I won't remember what the hell footy is after that - will be having withdrawls!

On a positive note - YAY for more than one game at the G - bout time we got some practice at playing there!

I just conducted a VERY accurate test, and worked out that Adelaide to Perth is like from my house to the UKRAINE!!!! LOL! (ie: i measured the distance on my globe with my fingers and tried to keep the gap the same whilst spinning the globe round to england, lol!)

But wowee, that IS a lot of travelling!!! Poor Port boys! And poor Bec's impending footy withdrawal!

Both my lots of boys have two interstate games in a row - which is the second year ina row its happened, and the Dee boys have two WA trips. and yeah - AFL SUCK!! I did notice Port seemed to have one of the worst non-vic club draws too!

Tris - your Melby dude-spokesperson re your draw next season was the best! His comment on the new was so classic! lol!

For the last like 2 - 3 seasons we've played rd.1 INTERSTATE ... SO NOT FAIR!!!!!!! argh!
And bloody Perth. Like I gots my cousins there and all, but i gotta go to Adel for port match and Brissy for Brissy match (to visit cousins in QLD) ... so like I am going to be able to afford rd 1 in perth too - PPFFFFFT!
As for travel ... we go like 5 times - 2xAdel, 2xPerth, 1xGABBA .... and Hawthorn only go like 3 times .... haven't looked at C'Wood yet ... but no doubt there's will be easy ... hmmmmmmf!
