I LOVE ROVEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I especially LOVE Roving with Rove!! LOL at the one where he asked people what annoyed them, and how they reacted. And one guy was like "I just hold my tongue, don't do anything" so LOL Rovey started acting all weird and making squeaky sounds in order to annoy him. SO FUNNY!!!

LOL mum walked into the room twice to see what I was watching... BOTH times stuff about monkeys was on!! LOL!! First time was the video dedicated to the death of Mr Bongo the Rampaging Monkey (and she was like "umm.. so this is Australian humour is it then?" - lol, men jumping around in Monkey suits while Rove babbles on about how much Mr Bongo stunk) - and the second time was the little baby gorilla ("awwww look at the wikkle monkey!!!" as Rove repeatedly said afterwards - SO CUTE!!) lol

What's with the "I like Ice Cream" thing then???

LMAO - just after I got through telling Lou how dull Jewel was on Rove last night, my cousin rocks up and demands I put it on because he forgot to tape it and needed to see her...omg! Then I got to hear ALL about his little trip 2morro - where he gets to meet Ms Kilcher (I swear I know everything there is to know about that girl and I don't even like her much lol) and he promised to let me know all about it when he gets back. Me: "On Saturday I had an hour long convo with Rowan's sister about...."
Sarah: "ROWAN'S sister?"
Me: "Yep, Rowan's sister she works.."
Sarah: "ROOWAAANN'SS sister????"
ME: uh huh... Rowans sister....
Sarah: "*****ROVES******* SISTER???"

At which point, I realise that while I've been thinking she's been saying "Rowan", she's been saying "Rove", and while she's been thinking I've been saying "Rove" I have actually been saying "Rowan".

LOL you have no idea how cool it was that she misheard it as ROVE though!!!! I mean.... YAY!!!!!


(i dunno how we so frequently mistook Rove and Rowan as one and the same, btw..... I guess we both just had the word we were thinking in our head and weren't up for listening for any other words lol!)

Television host Rove McManus will wed his long-time love, actor Belinda Emmett.

In a statement, McManus, 30, said he had proposed to Emmett, 30, last Wednesday and she had accepted.

The couple, who have been together for five years, have not yet set a date for the ceremony.

In the statement Emmett said she was very excited to have a wedding to plan.

McManus, the host of Network Ten's Rove Live and a Gold Logie winner, met Emmett at the opening of Fox Studios in 1999.

Emmett, who played opposite Eric Bana in the film The Nugget, was diagnosed with breast cancer a year earlier.

She has been fighting the disease ever since.

YAY! May they live happily ever after.
