Hello everybody

I'm doing terminology research on foil fencing and I came across the "Hern Style" or "Certulo" Handle. I couldn't find any definition of this kind of handle and I never came across it when I was practising this sport myself. So, if you know more about it pleas send me a mail to the above email address.

Thank you very much

Regards gertie

The cetrulo grip is a modern variation of what was known as the spanish or spanish offset grip. It is an orthopedic, but does veer off well into pistol grip territory. I would reccommend it for people with a genuine need for orthopedics.

Regarding the "Hern style" - without further information I will need to refrain from speculating.
