Turks And Caicos Text Area = I think you people need to get off your high horses. I mean the nerve of you people. You all come down here, trying to impose your will on us and God forbid we show some back bone. You turn around and try to destroy our lives and lively hood. I mean is the US such a perfect place. You have poverty, crime (kids killing each other in schools), drugs, homeless people, terrorist (foreign and local). I mean what gives you the right to talk. Fine you didn't have a good trip, your move didn't work out, for every 1 of you who comes here and posts a bad story about the TCI we have 10 people who like it here and are returning to spend their vacation or move here. If you don't like it don't come back. Stay at home where you will be charged high tax rates, your kids will be scared to go to school and you are likely to die from air pollution or cancer of some kind. We are good people here, people trying to raise their kids and build good lives for their families just like everyone else in this World. If you have a problem with some of us be man or woman enough to deal with the situation one on one. Why does a whole country have to be penalized? Yes, we have problems like everywhere else, but we also have hopes of better things for our future and hopes on improving our country and our lives. You people look from the outside in and don't see the struggles we as a people have to go through. You bring up the Haitian problem. Its not our fault these people are being terrorised at home and are seeking refuge. How can we be expected to support our infrastructure and take on the strain on our resources. Our main source of income is Tourism, we have no crops or industry and we get very little from the British Government. Yes we have problems with corruption in government as do many small countries, with limited law enforcement resources. The good thing is we have young people like myself who are ready and willing to take charge of our country and try to make things better. People like you don't make it any easier. Did you think about what effect your comments would have on our income, our families, our kids. You are quick to post the bad things about us but you don't explore the effects of your words. I know people who moved from the US and UK and have been living here happily for more than 24 years. Maybe you guys are the problem.
