I think that you need to read a little more about what happens in the Turks. If you are like most tourists alcohol dulls a lot of your senses including what is really happenning around you. Most people who have written here have stayed more than a week and got more of a clue of reality than you have. No one said that it was not a beautiful place of sand and sun. What they are saying is that if you go there and work you will be taken advantage of. Low pay, poor condition, broken promises and lost of money with lots of agravation. It is true that a lot of people will not go to the Turks again. They were tourist who expected more for their money. Some people just have more money than brains. In that case a bad holiday does not matter to them. If they lose their savings going there to work - it does not matter to them. People should speak up. Interesting fact is that MOST peole who have a good time will say so. Those who were taken advantage of USUALLY DO NOT say anything and let it happen to others. So Fran I would say that this page speaks for itself. Don't go to the Turks for a vaction or to work. Reputation are earned justly in this case. I speak with plenty of experience.
