Look, I've never visited the place; but I've met enough people and visited enough places to know that Mark Twain was right when he said don't let school get in the way of your education. Read a little history and know that poor educational systems and angry attitudes toward tourists and visitors aren't created in a vacuum. So if you need to make yourself feel better by simplifying the issues into good guys/bad guys, be my guest. Just don't expect to be awarded any extra IQ points for that kind of thinking.
