Response to Malaysia=ahead mostly because of its Chinese community |
| Anon, good analysis but seemed you do not learn a thing from what had happened in Malaysia. If Malaysia moves forward cos of the Chinese then there’s NO excuse whatsoever that PNG cant move forward cos of all the investments coming into the country. Lets not talk about Malaysia kicking Singapore out or Malaysia progressing because of the Chinese… lets look at the what, how and why Malaysia moved forward despite all these… one of the reasons is the political stability among implementation of the economic policy plan “now called new economic development plan”
The Octopus hand you are referring to needs to be cut short, that’s what they are doing in business over here. RH is been encouraged by the poor business policy of PNG and more the fact that some corrupt big shoots in PNG are given commissions and presents to look after this particular company… so don’t blame the company cos its doing what it has to do to reap off all the money in png.. your government doesn’t protect your business industry so things you supposed to be doing are given to the Malaysians instead and now you are complaining..
About the Malaysian customary land right. I don’t like it either but I believe there are positive issues to be discussed out of that.
Look, our land is decreasing everyday, if I should say (two main causes- population growth and the effects of the green house effect that causes the sea level to rise plus the erosion of the coastal land). So in reality our land mass decreases everyday. One day, the population will increase to an extend whereby if we do not control settlements (which means moving people out of their customary land), we might ended up not have any more fertile land for farming-food to feed the population. This is bcos people will settle on this land.
Second Development will be difficulty as people scattered all over. What Malaysia does might not be right but its up to us to see how we could do it to help our countries, we do not have to really follow what Malaysia is doing but we can do something out of what we have learnt out of this country to help our people. What we should do is that move people into places where its easy to be developed into towns as time goes by and then support commercial farming on fertile lands or harvesting the natural resources by its owners.
Incase you don’t know, you should visit the villages here in Malaysia, where majority of the villages have roads run into them and electricity goes to most, if not all. Maybe you don’t know how hard they are working to help their small communities.
If you don’t want PNG to be like Malaysia then come up with something viable to the country… and stop using HUMAN RIGHTS cos not country on this earth is following human rights.
I pray that you do not have a Malay attitude or mentality cos it will be against Melanesian code arm and melanesian right, ehehehehehe
Thank You Sir
