To the Gotti Family and their peripheril loved ones and friends,
First off, I am a law-abiding Californian who visits New York at least once a year for vacation. My Wife, children and I are big Yankee Fans, and we feel most comfortable in New York for reasons we can't even explain. I only know what I have read about John. And I've studied up on him alot over the past 10 years. I am not condoning violent crime by any means, but I am a realist and understand a little about how John grew up.
Here's what I do know,
John is finally back with his Son Frank. He is now making up for lost time with him, playing catch, going for walks etc. Frank has opened the gates and showed his Father the way. Johnny Boy will answer for past wrong doings of his own, but will be forgiven. Someone like Gravano will never be forgiven. John can also spend time once again with Carlo and Mr. Neil, and Angelo eating cannolis and telling him to stop smoking.
Don't cry for the Family, John Jr. will carry the torch. He can only learn from his predessessor's mistakes and re-build in a legitimate way. Generations from now, the Gotti bloodline will be Senators, Educators, and possibly even a President. Remember friends, the Kennedy bloodline started with a smart bootlegger named Joe.
Just makes me wonder if Sept. 11th would have ever happened, if our "Bad Guys" as some want to say, were still in a position to do something. Lord knows the Feds, God bless the good, non-corrupt ones, couldn't handle it. The truth is, we need our good old American "Bad Guys" because then others would fear us. Terrorists don't play by conventional rules, so they need to know there's somebody in our Country who also isn't hampered by the legal mumbo jumbo rules and political correctness. American Cosa Nostra still has feelings for this country regardless of internal situations. They still love Baseball, BBQ's and the Fourth of July.
"Five / Ten years from now, they gonna wish there was American Cosa Nostra." Five / Ten years from now, they gonna miss John Gotti." (He was so right 10+ years ago.)
I hope that this year's fireworks in Ozone Park and in Little Italy are bigger than ever before.
I couldn't of said it better.. *smiles*
I think they should RENAME OZONE PARK to something that has John Gotti's name in it.. R.I.P John.. Well MISSED...... but NEVER 4-gotten..

NEW YORK (AP) - John Gotti sat in the cramped apartment in New York's Little Italy. He spoke to a trusted friend, wondering what would come of his rise from Queens hoodlum to head of the Gambino crime family.
"Is this what we're working for?" he asked in December 1989, unaware of the government bug catching every word in his Mulberry Street hideaway. "To leave a (expletive) mess behind?"
The answer, it turned out, was yes.
Back then, Gotti was still the boss of bosses, a movie star-style mobster with a lifestyle to match. The FBI ( news - web sites) made him public enemy No. 1 as Gotti laughingly dismissed attempts to jail him, beating three prosecutions — one with the aid of a rigged jury.
And then it all went bad.
When Gotti died June 10 after a long battle with cancer, the mob boss was little more than an icon of another era. As he wasted away in a federal hospital, the family that Gotti had boasted would last for a century collapsed in less than a decade.
That wasn't just the Gambino family. When Gotti died, two generations of Gotti men — a half-dozen in all — were in jail or facing trial in an increasingly futile battle to keep the foundering Gambinos afloat.
FOR ANYONE INTERESTED, I HAVE A NEW JOHN GOTTI CHATROOM. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO CHAT ABOUT JOHN, I WELCOME YOU, PLEASE GO TO:WWW.NETWORK54.COM/HIDE/CHAT/81573
I HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL THERE SOMETIME.
ALSO, AGAIN, TO THE GOTTI FAMILY, YOU HAVE ALL MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
I'm sorry that posts haven't been showing up on the forum in an acceptable amount of time. This will change, I give you my word. Right now, when on my computer, I've been busy working on the new features that will be appearing soon! Again, I apologive about the late posts.
Question: Could John Gotti have died from radioactive laced food planted by the Feds? The way John Gotti died from cancer, makes it seem too obvious something was not normal in the way he "suddenly" was ravaged by this type of cancer. I'd second guess this theory to wonder how in the world someone within a prison system on the federal level have not been diagnosed sooner and treated properly in time before it got to that critical stage, ""that fast?""
Then comes the arrest of the top family honchos rounded up just before Gotti's death. To prevent a power struggle within the Gambino clan after Gotti's death, they take them off the streets. Which brings me back to wonder if all this was hatched out, again, preordained by the feds knowing Gotti was about to expire in the way he did.
While his presence was still around, the feds knew that breaking the "Will" of the Gambino Mafia was harder then they had anticipated from having him incarceratd, so why not try and get rid of him by means of contamination with laced food or water, or surgically implanted radiation that causes cancer within the head cavity? Such a ferocious death, I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy, even John Gotti..
Would make for a good read, someone write a book about this one?
I WONDERED WHY AN AUTOPSY WAS MANDATORY ON A CONFINED INMATE UNLESS THEY HAD TO REMOVE THE FOREIGN OBJECTS IMPLANTED TO ENSURE THAT THE FEDS GOT AWAY WITH MURDER. WHEN A PERSON IS SENTENCED TO LIFE IN PRISON, THEN WHEN THEY DIE, THE FAMILY SHOULD HAVE THE RIGHT TO REMOVE THE DECEASED IMMEDIATELY AND HAVE THE PERSON AUTOPSIED BY A "LEGITIMATE" PHYSICIAN. WOULD IT BE POSSIBLE FOR A FAMILY MEMBER TO EXHUME THE BODY AND HAVE ANOTHER AUTOPSY DONE TO PROVE JUST HOW "THE LAW"
(THE US SYSTEM) ACTUALLY GOT AWAY WITH MURDER?WHAT A SHAME THAT THE AVERAGE AMERICAN IS SO GULLIBLE AND IGNORANT AS TO TRUST A GOVERNMENT WHO LET 9-11 HAPPEN,
THE CIA THE FBI HAVE BEEN SLEEPING WITH THE ENEMY FAR TOO LONG...AND THEN THEY HAVE THE NERVE TO SPEND 75 MILLION TO GO AFTER GOTTI. THEY SHOULD ALL ROT IN HELL WHEN THEY DIE. CATHERINE HEISER
Hey ya'll.. It sounds like something the fbi would be able to do and get away with.. they are ALLL corupted to me.. but freedom of speach is nice.. *smiling*
i recently watched a biography about the gambinos on television, and learnt alot.
When i heard about john's death i was saddened but i remember how he had such spirit and ambition, maybe he went about it the wrong way but i don't think he should have been confined in prison alone for all those years.
I am too young to remember what happened to get him locked up anyway, but a life is a life and my condolences go to the family.
He died in a prison hospital on June 10th. He had been stricken with throat cancer for several years. The illness had spread from his neck to his head.
IF EVER THERE WAS A HELL ON EARTH WHAT JOHN GOTTI SUFFERED WITH THROAT/HEAD CANCER IS TRULY THE WORST AND MOST PAINFUL OF CANCERS. AFTER WHAT JOHN WENT THROUGH...HE SUFFERED ALOT. HE MUST BE IN HEAVEN NOW.
PROBABLY UTILIZING HIS REAL TALENT ...AS A GOD FATHER OF THE HEAVENS!!!!
CATHERINE HEISER
Dear Mr. Gotti may your soul rest in peace. God knows you could not have peace here on earth with the FBI and the media... I have nothing but respect for John i grew up in a sicilian family even though my father is dutch,he did not raise me, my mother is full sicilian and my family is from Mesina, Sicily.. i am very proud to be sicilian and i am very upset that Mr. Gotti is gone he represents the Italian people in a way no one else could... i know i will miss seeing him and hearing about him even if only through the media, my respects and sympathies go out to his family i do know how hard it is to have a loved one in prison, my son is doing life for murder as well... he was the last true Godfather and for us Italians who know how important that is to our culture he will be sorely missed... There are no better people on earth than the Italian people... Ilove you John and thanks for all you gave to the Italian paople..
So long John. All of us are going to miss you. You were an inspiration to us all. Your daughter was right when she said that you were a man of honor and loyalty who took care of the people surrounding him. I hope wherever you are that you are happy and without pain.
You may be dead, but the legend of John Gotti will live forever!!!
I AGREE WITH YOUR MESSAGE. JOHN GOTTI WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN, AND LIKE YOU, I REALLY HOPE HE IS RESTING IN PEACE, WHICH I BELIEVE HE IS DUE TO THE FACT HE IS NOW FREE, FREE FROM PRISON AND FREE OF PAIN. I HOPE HE IS WITH HIS SON FRANKIE. GOD BLESS JOHN GOTTI.
This site is back! First, I feel I should introduce myself to all of you. As you can see, my name is Peter; I'm a very dear friend of Mr. Carmine Scalia and also a fellow journalist.
I plan to add many new features to this site, as well as working on improving the forum at the same time. Currently, the posts are moderated, but I am seeking other alternatives. Immediately, though, I have eliminated the showcasing of forum visitors' IP addresses. I think that there is no need for that. No one should experience any sort of trepidation for expressing their views.
SAY HELLO TO YOU AND TO WISH YOU ALOT OF SUCCESS WITH THIS SITE, AND I'D ALSO LIKE TO SEND MY HEARTFELT CONDOLENCES TO THE ENTIRE GOTTI FAMILY.
I HOPE PEOPLE WILL BE KINDER ABOUT JOHN'S DEATH, AND SHOW JOHN'S FAMILY SOME RESPECT AND DECENCY.
GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS.
I AM NEW USING COMPUTER AND REALLY APPREACIATE YOUR THOROUGH REVIEW OF JOHN GOTTI. I THOUGHT HE WAS AN HONEST BUSINESSMAN . . . UNLIKE ALL THOSE INVOLVED IN CORPORATE AMERICA AND GOVERNMENT. LOOK FORWARD TO YOUR FORUM IN THE FUTURE. WHO IS GOING TO FILL JOHN GOTTI'S SHOES ?
I have to say that when I heard of Mr. Gotti's unfortunate death I was very sad. I was actually hoping to write him and receive a response. I have always been intrigued by the man and have nothing but the utmost respect for Mr. Gotti and what he meant to his city of New York. The Dapper Don may be gone, but will never be forgotten
IF WE TRULY DO HAVE "FREE SPEECH" IN AMERICA....THEN WE SHOULD NEVER BE CENCORED. SPEAKING CANNOT INFRINGE ON ANYONE ELSES LIFE BECAUSE WORDS ARE JUST THAT...WORDS. I SAY WE CHALLENGE THOSE HYPOCRITES WHO WANT TO FORCE US TO THINK LIKE THEM!!!
