The chairman FORAUK John Baraza has sent his team out in force after marathon weekly meetings in London.
On Saturday the 7th July 2012 the chairman told his committee members, we are fully equipped and grounded enough to start our national campaign, creating, supporting and coordinate FORA cells all over the UK and Europe. Let us go out and do what Hon Raila Odinga the Kenyan Prime Minister and forerunner in the 2012 presidential race mandated us to do, enable him to become the president of Kenya by recruiting more friends of Raila to his ambition. Every vote counts.
The FORA team who are also preparing for the PM UK visit during the Olympics this August wants to create a formidable team to make sure that Hon Raila gets to the statehouse in the first round of presidential elections come March 2012 elections.
Following an initial meeting in Leeds early in the year and the blessing visit by the Prime Minister in April 2012 to the FORAUK team, new recruitment meeting have been scheduled all over the UK to recruit and work together with members of ODM in strengthening Raila presidential ambitions.
The team leaves for scheduled supporter meetings from this Saturday the 14th July 2012 morning heading north from London through Luton, Bedford, Milton Keynes Northampton, Corby and Peterborough. The team includes The chairman John Baraza, Zahoor , Rosemary, and Eric Ogello. FORA SG will be in Berlin Deutschland, while Rev. Joseph and Kizito hold the fort in London. Emma is in Nairobi for a series of meetings while Lillian recruits her FORA cell in Essex. Esther is multitasking after recall visit to Raila Campaign HQ in Nairobi in May. Gillian, the lawyer is working on the constitution while Omar is busy on Facebook recruiting new members. Dennis Otingo is strategising and recruiting new members while George Ananga is on his to Nairobi.
A few of the committee members have left for Kenya to campaign for our candidate. Eunice is on her way to Nairobi and also while Dennis Orero as they are parliamentary candidates.
The scheduled meetings came after a planned dinner dance was postponed for a later date.
The recruitment drive which will happen all over the UK is aimed to maximize the Diaspora votes for Hon Raila Odinga and helping the Nairobi campaign team develop the best manifesto for the nation of Kenya irrespective of where in the county, tribe, gender, or any form of disability and for the interest of all. This according to new constitution an agenda our reform presidential candidate stands for.
Other meeting are scheduled for Slough, Oxford, Reading before visiting Birmingham, Manchester Leeds and other cities in the North of UK.
