Those days to come, may be Babu will earn an OBE if she coaches one thatcherlet to claim gold. Babu might even design a contest game like... kuhura mbira. Or mbanya. Or sliding on a wet patch bare feet or on the butt. Or training dogs to hunt hares. Or milking cows. Or tilling farms. Or swinging from climbers the Tarzan way... We have a hundred games that we could 'go for gold' and show the Chinks and Mericanos and mzungus dust. After all, Tarzan was one of us in the jungle and a great athlete that beat all participants. That we can participate in a white man's games and oft beat him makes us truly great. If we were to compete in our own games, these guys would not even qualify. Therefore, beaten or not, we are still Kenyans and truly great. Take heart even when we don't win. For we have won in other means, being humble.
