"This girl is very shao with her forced tweng! she reminds of someone suffering from something we call SRB. {serious rural background}. and she is an embarrassement to us kenyans!! only shao people would enjoy watching her
programmes as well as hail her as their star!!!"
This is posted by Tosha...

This is laughable, it just shows how small minded some people are, or jealous even., Just to clarify, I am from Shao, I was born and brought up in Turi, a village called Mukolombosi, i doubt anyone of you ever heard of this, its too rural. I watched my first TV in high school, you know saturday movies in boarding school. Everyone used to think of me as a beautiful young girl and of course in the village, got many marriage offers, but i had my eyes on a successful future.I would hate myself if i did not try to improve myself, or if I let little minded people to ruin my dream.

Good parentage is important for a successful future. I knew i had to work hard, study hard and make something of my life, well I have. I am proud to see more than a dream. I can empower people through media, God blessed me with a husband who shares my passion. I have come a long way, but I am still nowhere near where i wonna be.

Thanks miss bling, whoever you are, and all the positive oriented fans. Those who appreciate that its hard, especially in UK, to keep African acts on air, clothing, make up and hairstyle is not more important than the information we are passing. I have seen worse looking presenters, poor program but we do not see it spread out here.

Kenyans, support me, if you are a make up artist, offer your services to African Ats, if you are a stylist, offer your services. Critisize and also give a viable solution.I take no offence of those who criticize without abuse, that is healthy.

I love you guys, I am just a fun loving woman full of life. I enjoy what I do. and I will keep making programs for the faithful viewers, even the haters, cos its important for me to know that they are watching African Acts.

Kind Regards to you all.

Thank You Misterseed. Isn't it about time we learnt the power of encouragement? Surely after all the effort and we all know how hard it is to make it in the western world, you'd think people have better things to say. Please if you don't have a positive critisism, it is better to refrain from highlighting the weakness we all know we have and actually don't have a lot to do with what Janet does

Hi Janet,

I have travelled the journey with you as a loyal viewer from your first day. I personally used to criticise you as well but constructively. May I say that you are a strong girl because you have taken on board some of the criticism to improve and today am very proud of you, infact I tell my friends from other countries to watch your programme which I think is terrific. I'm sorry this is the only support I can give you however I suggest you progress further by taking formal trainings and attend workshops on media. You are more likely to network and I think this is where you could go a notch higher or get sponsors.

Kenya will soon switch to digital and industry insiders say they will require alot of programmes to fill in the slots.

As for Kenyans you have to be very strongwilled to counter them as most are very negative in thinking without offering viable solutions. I like your reply which has demonstrated alot of maturity. Its also good you embrace constructive criticism. Keep up

And for those that criticise without any knowledge please take a few minutes and look at the home videos you have shot or if not please try to record yourself making a presentation and and then compare with what Janet showcases

This critisim have undoubtedly improved tha rating. Its good to be proud of what you are doing. There is in my opinion a legitimate and objective critism;you seem to over-do the gestures.Compose yourself, stand still, stop over indulging the nod,the shrug and the raised brow and ah ah the cleavage.

But then what matters,is it the message-and nobody seems to doubt this- or its container? Better to listen to a stammerer than a noisy fool. You get my vote.
