Algiers-Algeria-Wife of Kenya's Culture and Sports Minister (see note below) taking part in the Second Pan African festival in Algiers was suspected of carrying the H1N1 virus of the swine influenza throwing an Algerian hotel into a panic, the Ennahar Online reports. The hotel , El Djazair was said to have been put in a state of emergency as the minister's wife refused to submit to conditions for prevention and safety imposed on customers, saying she was a VIP. The Kenyan lady fell ill a few hours after arrival at the hotel and was checked by a doctor who found symptoms of the swine flu.
