@Wairumbi you appear not to be following the most recent developments in Kenya politics which show how Raila, the mastermind of political thuggery, after getting his ODM led Parliament to kick Ringera out is now at advanced stage to have Parliament bring a vote of no confidence in Kibaki and demand that he too resigns which he will do. Then Raila's ODM speaker Marende will lead the country for 3 months during which he will oversee a general election that will ensure ODM win with a big majority. Raila is already directing the Committee of Experts that is drafting the new constitution to adopt ODM draft of 2005 including a Parliamentary system of government with an Executive PM who will be appointed by Parliament and not the public. If there is too much resistance to this Raila will agree to have a ceremonial President in the new constitution who will be elected by the public but have less power than the Parliament appointed Executive PM the position which Raila will fill.
Raila/ODM have done a great deal to influence the international community including ICC and will ensure by the time they bring the no confidence in the President Uhuru along with Ruto and other key obstacles to Raila will either be at ICC or the new KACC Raila is ensuring his men and women will control will have charged most of Raila major opponents with corruption and they will either be in jail or will be barred from standing in the general electiongs. Raila will also have got his men and women to control the police and other armed forces either at the top or just below so he will be able to rig the elections without any problems. Raila is also sponsoring the Imanyara bill which will strip the President of immunity from prosecution which means if Kibaki is not brought down via a vote of no confidence, he will be charged by ICC for his part in the last violence by ommission and once he is indicted, Raila ODM led Parliament will demand that he stands down.
AS YOU CAN TELL FROM THE PICTURE IN THE PARENT ARTICLE OF THIS PING, RAILA IS ENJOYING CLOSE RELATIONSHIP WITH AND IS GETTING ALL THE SUPPORT HE NEEDS FROM THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY INCLUDING OBAMA WHO HE IS IN CLOSE CONTACT WITH FREQUENTLY THOUGH SECRETLY FOR THE TIME BEING. EU IS PARTICULARLY KEEN TO HAVE RAILA IN THE TOP POSITION BECAUSE HE HAS GUARANTEED BETTER ACCESS TO KENYA'S RESOURCES AND WHATEVER THEY WANT - REMEMBER THERE IS A CLAMOUR FOR AFRICA FROM THE OLD COLONIAL POWERS RECENTLY AS THEIR ECONOMIES ARE SHRINKING AND THEY DO NOT WANT CHINA AND INDIA TO HAVE STRONGER HOLD ON AFRICA NATURAL RESOURCES THAN THEM AND THEY KNOW ONLY LEADERS LIKE RAILA, TSANGARAI ETC CAN ALLOW THEM TO DO AS THEY PLEASE.
Kibaki is a big fool to think he can manage Raila. When Raila said 'Kibaki Tosha' and the foolish old man and his overconfident supporters though Agwambo was respecting their man, Raila knew better was not actually supporting Kibaki but his long term plans - HE SAW KIBAKI WAS GOING TO WIN EVEN WITHOUT HIS SUPPORT AND DECIDED IT WOULD WORK BETTER IN HIS LONG TERM STRATEGIES IF HE JOINED THE WINNING SIDE FOR THE TIME BEING AND KNOWING HOW FOOLHANDY KIBAKI WAS HE KNEW HE COULD MANAGE HIM IN THE FUTURE AS HE IS DOING NOW. HE ALSO KNEW THERE WERE PLANS TO ELIMINATE KIBAKI THROUGH AN ACCIDENT AND IF THIS WORKED HE WAS GOING TO GET KIBAKI'S BLESSINGS.
So Wairumbi - apana cheza na Agwambo - mumm and othaya must be insiders as they have hit the nail on the head. IT IS U NYUMBA YA MUMBI WHO ARE SLEEPING AS USUAL OVERCOFIDENT YOU CAN RULE AND PLUNDER KENYA FOREVER.
I beg to differ in your opinion.Raila unknown to him is in a very tighgt spot.Flashback to 1960s and you will realise that U.S did have a problem with his fathewr for the communist view he held and upto now he is a supporter of the same./U.S policies dont change overnight and because of one man He is still being kept on the spot.
Another issue is this.Ocampo said he has been gathering evidence of the post election violence under the radar.Who knows what information he has to implicate the suspects?If ruto is in for fire then Raila is in for fire and this is definately Raila's waterloo.Even you see, kibaki being quiet is by no means a fool.If you encounter a quiet person and pok his face then i believe you may have encountered many an injury.I
It is true Kibaki was quiet about the chaos as they were happening , but the he/she who brought the war and commanded others to play God, is the one to face the gallows ,and as satan surely knows his hour cometh soon, so does this camp,and am afraid Raila knows he is a senior member of it.
KEEP ON DREAMING MATE,BUT I SAID HERE MANY YEARS AGO AND I REPEAT AGAIN NOW,NO LUO WILL EVER RULE KENYA,THEY ARE EMOTIONAL HYSTERICAL LOT- THEY ARE OBSSESSED WITH ONE FAMILY - ODINGA FAMILY,THE YELLOW EYED MONSTER WILL NEVER EVER RULE OUR COUNTRY.
If your cheap bar talk here is true, so be it. Do you think Kifaki has a lot of support having taken the country in circles, and pretending not to hear the people's cries? Dont you have any doubts that he is King of impunity, and corruption? I dont. Dont get me wrong, but Raila is not my cup of tea either. These two need to move out of the way, and let Kenya hold fresh elections with better people. Tribal politics will never help anybody, but the same ol' dirty politicians.
On a new constitution, Kenyans are the best known thieves of good ideas. Why dont they give the USA version a try - at least for 10 years?
