Costs of living in London rising

At these hard economic times when we are all finding it hard to save our pennies, the not thinking conservative and wealthy London mayor the pompous Boris Johnson goes on and hikes the fares.
Now when he was campaigning against the ever efficient mayor Ken Livingston he promised to scrap the congestion charge, now he has in fact increased the rate from £8 to £10, he promised to bring down bus and train fares in the city but again he has increased them. Now I am having to cut my usual trips on the Victoria line from Brixton to seven sisters as the tube fare is unimaginably high.

That not counting the utility bills in the last year have gone up 70%, due to high oil prices. Food prices unless like me you go to netto keep on rising. Primark is now becoming expensive for clothes. Now to save money I have decided to get an allotment and do some farming, but with winter coming that wont be possible, I am also in search of a good boda boda bike to do my travelling. My trips to my locals, Beehive and crown n spectre pubs have been reduced considerably, resulting in me getting cheap eastern European beer from netto. As for clothes, I have discovered oxfam, they have some really good second hand gear.
