| I have to say i have been appalled at the postings on this site about the gay marriage of two Kenyan men in london. first and foremost it is of no business of me or anyone else, who marries who in this world providing they are both age appropriate consenting adults. secondly what astonishes me and upsets me even more is the complete lack of respect for the culture, morals and values of the society in which you are all currently living ie. the uk or the west as some of you have referred too. we are proud to adhere to the human rights legislation which has promoted the rights of this gay couple and allowed them to marry.we are also proud to adhere to and respect the legislation that was designed to stand up to and protect the oppressed of this world and this legislation has been widely used in the uk for all oppresed groups be they black, white, gay straight, christian or muslim or non faith. no one in this world has the right to belittle, judge or abuse another because of their colour, sex, race, sexual orientation, ethnicity or religion.
I would ask that all of you who have saw it fit to pass judgement on this couple how many of you have used the protection the human rights act affords you to settle and remain in this country? until we all learn to co-exist with our differences the world will continue to struggle for peace and harmony.
i want you all to be very clear about this we in the West be we white or black have only progressed because of tolerance of people who are different understanding different cultures, values and religions and respecting peolpes values and beliefs this is what makes us what we are. furthermore what i would like to suggest is that those of you who are sick of the west for dictating what is right and wrong then you should perhaps be questioning wether living in the west is trully what you want. i can only assume we all came here for a better life and we believed in what the uk had to offer us. we therefore have to value and respect the legislation and the right to chose to live as we wish that this country promotes alternatively you can always return to kenya. finally the lord is the only one who has the right to trully judge. |

Please, the likes of you make me so mad because it seems like being in the West makes you stop being a human being with values or a thinking one for that matter.
We are adressing an issue that is pertinent for our existence as a people.
And by the way what moral values are you asking us to respect? If something is wrong, it is wrong regardless of who commits it. And it makes me mad when the likes of you use that moribund arguement used to compare unatural acts with being black.
The same law that justify the two the right to marry also accords us free speech so let us express our views as we see things. I am sick of the liberal media trying to push things on us and when you question you are insulted.
The only reason we are involved is because they were described as Kenyans. Our Kenyan children need to know what their parents think about this issue because if we do not address this now tomorrow we will cry for sins of ommission. |

l think you are more confused than those 2 shogas put together. Who is "we" as you have used the word everywhere? who do you represent? the entire UK population or just yourself? who are you to talk on behalf of other people? everyone has a right to their own opinion and everyone is expressing his/her own opinion here to this shocking saga.
You talk of our expressing our freedom of opinion, as complete lack of respect, for the culture, moral and values of UK. Which UK? the same one we are living? or one in Mars? if you are truly well educated in the British way of life, you will no doubt know that the British do not condone homosexuality, but the average British person has learned to condone and tolerate it . Dont insult the UK people and peoples' intelligence by saying that bum riding is part of their culture!
Homosexuality is Unafrican, wrong in the eyes of the same Lord you have quoted, unnatural, forbidden, wrong in the eyes of the "normal/general" society. If indeed it was not a morally wrong thing, then civilised nations would have made it law centuries ago that it is wrong to discriminate gays and lesbians.
l am quoting you on "we are proud to adhere and respect the legislation that was designed to protect the opressed" fair enough but....
There are some things in life that we cannot choose and those that we have power to choose. You cannot chose your parents, colour, race, place of birth, your roots etc. There are also circumstances, that you find yourself in and can do little or nothing to change eg poverty, environment, jobs etc.
But there are things that you do in life out of choice and free will. One of them is choosing to be gay. It is a way of life and as it is, trendy to some confused folks.
If you choose this lifestyle, then you are entering into something that the society looks down upon. You have to be aware you are incurring the wrath of God as most if not all religions preach against it. You have to be aware that you will be discriminated, beaten, abused or even killed for the love
of the bum. Tell me, is the ******* worth dying for?
When you chose to be an entertainer, dont complain about the paparazzi, it comes with the package. The same goes for the **** shoving business.
You cannot force society to accept you just because you have chosen this nasty habit. Free will, free choice.
You have even gone as far as telling us to go back to Kenya if we dont like gays!! the cheeck of it! Are you not playing the judge here?
So, are you gay?
Finally, l would request you go to a football club, or say the rugby union and tell them about gay rights, see what will happen to you. |
