Is Molo and nakuru in Central Province?November 7 2009 at 12:45 PM | Kumbekumbe |
| I am talking about an issue that has come to my attension. Voting and number of constituencies.
I read here and elsewhere that MPs from Central Province are campaigning for more constituencies in the name of voter numbers. I have NO problem with One man One vote. But I have a problem with Molo, Nakuru, Naivasha, and Nyahururu MPs ganging up with Central MPs. It makes this important issue look trivial and tribal!
If this issue is that vital, why is it that only Kikuyu MPs are talking about it? And why now? Why didn't they talk about it in say 2002 electroral reveiw meets? Is this another change the constitution moments the 1970s style?
Do NOT get me wrong. I am Kikuyu but I dodn't like being piled up with others for no apparent reason. My MP should advocate issues independently and NOt at the behest of tribal groupings.
Aren't these MPs giving credit to Balala's Lesotho mantra? If all that matters to CP MPs is themselves then, Balala could be forgiven for being "right"! for calling for a separate state because all we care for is us and NO one else!
MR Seed for fairness sake please post this article. I am only giving a different perspective to our myopic posts here and situation on the ground in Jamu.
Thanks.

Your arguments iare very shallow no wonder you plead for them to be printed; your hindsight is right, these arguments can be ignored for their stupidity. In a word if something was not done in 2002 it dos'nt mean it cant be done today or the person doing it is inconsistent. Is it contradictory to carry an umbrella in todays rain when you didnt have one yestarday? |

Don't personalise issues. You didn't answer anything this writer has raised! You are calling him/her names yet what is written is factual!
If anything you are shallow pal. Get facts to challenge what is being discussed. |

Is Molo in central province? Hell no. Is Naivasha, Nyahururu,Subukia in central? Hell very NO. The issue here is what someone once called belonging. But belonging makes the MPs whose constituencies are out of central province look tribal and out of place. |

Although i could not get head or tail of your writings. The little i got was nakuru and molo are not in central.Thats a valid point. Most nakuru people have very little to do with central except shared language.MY great granparents migrated from there a hundred years ago.so the issues that affect us are more in common with our other neighbours than central province. And i think its right that our mps represent issues that affect us than thinking oh central so i follow. |
