Jomo Kenyatta Airport - my experienceFebruary 22 2012 at 10:56 AM
A Kenyan woman arring from abroad shouted at a Customs official, demanding to know why he was curious to know what was in her bag. The official was just doing her work. The 'arrival' from UK told her ' I know you just want a bribe'
This reminded me of Nancy Baraza case, obstructiong a security guard performing her duties.
In another case, a customs official, smiling, asked 'Sister, umetuletea nini kutoka ng'ambo?' OMG, the arrival was furious. 'Why should I bring you anything, you are fond of bribes...'
When you return home, leave your frustrations at Heathrow. Kenyans like a laugh and jokes - not the British life styles where people are gloomy 365 days a year. If you have forgotten Kenyan cultures just for being away for some months, check with Kenya High Commission
