WELL man Njenga to face the full force of LAW atleast he will have company in the name of MIDIWO when he comes back from south Africa. It`s a high time ppl who think Rational acts like everyone even with a gun is looking to kill someone .Anyway he was whisked off to milliman to face charges of Robbery with Violence Good start.

Former Mungiki leader Maina Njenga was on Tuesday arrested after he showed up to record statements with police following a gun drama incident in his church in Nairobi.

Njenga and four other men including his personal assistant Francis Mwangi were arrested at the Kasarani Police Station where they had been summoned for questioning following the Sunday incident.

He was with his lawyer Paul Muite when police informed him he would face robbery with violence charges over the drama that led police to lose a gun and mobile phones.

"Police say mobile phones and money were lost in the incident and they are preferring robbery with violence charges," said.

Muite protested the manner which Njenga and his co-accused were arrested saying they did not have their finger prints taken and that they were not cautioned over the charges.

He said they would fight out the claims before the court.

He added he would lead other lawyers in refusing to co-operate with police over the manner in which the suspects were arrested.

"Three of those arrested are youths who I brought to offer crucial information that led to the gun drama at the church but now they have also included them to face such serious charges. No lawyer will co-operate with the police."

Security was tight outside the police station after Njenga arrived accompanied by Muite.

Supporters of Njenga kept streaming outside the station as more police were called to beef up security.

The supporters shouted and screamed as Njenga was being driven out of the station at about 1pm headed to the Milimani court.

Njenga and his co-accused were arrested in connection with the Sunday incident in which three police officers were injured and lost a gun in an attack at the church.

The officers were responding to a distress call from the Hope International Church, that a man with a gun had entered the compound.

This circus will one day come to an end. This thug belongs to Kamiti Maximum Prison. Yet he roams the road freely. They will probably release him by the end of the day. . . .Sad.
