      Kumuls thrash Fiji Bati 26-0 in final test

      Revenge was certainly on the Papua New Guinea Telikon Kemuls mind when they thrashed the Fiji Bati 26-0 in the second and final test today at the Lloyd Robson Oval in Port Moresby.

      Fiji won the first game 24-12 in Mount Hagen, a loss the Kumuls were certainly not happy with.

      They promised a backlash in the final test and a hard backlash it was.

      This year kicked off the inaugural tour between the Fiji Bati and the Telikom Kumuls.

      Both teams are aiming preparations towards the 2013 Rugby League World Cup in the United Kingdom.

      PNG is currently ranked 4th in the the world rankings with Fiji placed 8th.
