Gold Coast SevensNovember 7 2009 at 6:25 PM | Mangi Manus |
| The PNG MRDC Menjas have reached the quarter finals of the Gold Coast Sevens with some strong performances against the Gold Coast Breakers and a couple of Fijian teams today. Whilst noting coach Waisele Serevi did play some part in the on field proceedings, it was refreshing to see the quality of the newcomers into the PNG team. There was only one old face in Alex Haija and it is interesting to see that the current crop are pretty much moulded in the true traditions of Fijian Sevens. Big fast and creative.
Good luck tomorrow. |

Although you guys got knock out in the plate semi finals, it was still a good effort. You can only get better. Good luck on the trip to Tahiti. |

I thought he was supposed to be coaching...not playing...! thats one extra-spot for a potential who could have made it down with the team to GC???? |
