The XE falcon (early 80's) was the first falcon with rear coils. It has a Watts linkage and I believe 2 trailing arms. The press raved about the new rear suspension, but it was a disaster at the race track compared to the leaf springs. To get the XE to handle they did some serious modifications. I believe they ran an A-bar. The pointy end of the A went under the Diff housing.
