Response to Rear Coilsprings

The later US Torino's have a full frame under them ala LTD chassis. Pretty good design but very heavy cars. If you could build a lighter frame and tune up the camber curves on the car, potential there for very good handling. Weight is the big detractor. Late model US Crown Vic police cars have a pretty good rear setup with coil's and watts link suspension. Might make for a interesting retrofit. Lots of them in the wrecking yards. Get a 98 or newer PD cruiser frame and then adapt the parts to fit.
