bata choc, here is my 2t tingting on the Chief...M-n and Mangi Pless did a fine job!

************

there is no middle man
give me this or give me none
dont sit around waiting for promotions
go out into the world
and grab opportunities and change
they take forever to come your way
if you just sit around and wait

an optimist in the midst of skeptics
curiosity drives him on
in search of a union out of a thousand tongues
an individual resolve for a communal good
I wasn't there at his side
never knew what went on his mind

his humble dream took shape
it shamed the skeptics and critics
they came back screaming like spoilt kids
they suck dry the public coffers
and sulk when he chides them

as uncertainty descends
he becomes the lone rider
the wind in his hair
the sun on his back
an undying smile on his face
he chuckles at the naughty kids who play in his playground
but they play without rules
because that was the dream that went astray
