Gorgor - Soft long stem plant with big leaves which has a customary purpose. Traditionally used [predominantly] by the people of the New Guinea Islands region of PNG as a mark of taboo. Eg: An individual or a party wanting to prohibit access to someone/group [opposing clan] of people from entering a certain area. The land owner[s] or clan leader[s] will tie a gorgor plant onto a stick then plant that stick into the ground in the middle of the road leading to that particular area thus preventing access. People will respect this mark [or they should] and avoid setting foot in this area. Other example where it could be used is where an individual or party wish to halt development [building], the Gorgor plant can be used effectively int his situation.
Kaskas - scabies, tree kangaroo [Kapul] found in the forests of PNG
Kotkot - crow [bird]
Marmar - raintree
Ngutngut - betlenut fallen from the tree, ready to germinate when it is plucked from the soil beneath, shelled and chewed with daka and kabang [mustard and lime]

Samsam - Dance
Singsing - traditional feast with performances of traditional dance and song. Used also to describe singing in general [verb].
Sipsip - sheep [Animal].
supsup - snack eaten by the people of the Eastern Highlands province of PNG. Spring onions are mashed together with Maggi stock cubes and eaten.
