Time plays on
Silent...ticking
Shifting sand
The hour glass runs out
Places. Faces..
They come and they go
Some fade whilst others survive
All contributing
Their little 5 toea
To what is
And what is to come
Creation in motion
Rooms are emptied to fill others
Its occupants re-distributed
Seasons come and season's go
There’s mass migration
Definite movement
But where are we going?
Oil prices rise
Natural disasters too many
Will the world as we know it survive?
Its systems of government
The norms that were once based on morality are now challenged
The unacceptable becomes acceptable
The once unthinkable becomes the norm
A time where what is legal and what is right can be antonyms
Social engineering
But where lays the thinker?
Are we fragments of his thoughts dispensed in time?
For what purpose?
Is there an end?
Is there an objective?
Who are we?
If we were born from one
Why is there so much division?
If one mind gave birth to a vision
And the vision was fragmentised and dispensed over time
Is everything that is, that was and that is to come pre-engineered?
If it is…what does all this give birth to

Help me think all this out…..

Night Star, you have wonderfully articulated the situation our world is in. I always wonder too, where all this is taking us and what will become of our children and grandchildren. Or will this world last that long to accomodate them? I mean, seeing all that's happening makes me wonder if this world will go on for a long time yet or something will happen to annihilate life as we know on planet earth?
