You sang a soultune
Twirling my dreads
Stroking my beard
And your arms around me
Motherly
To protect me?
Or to keep me for your own very self?
I felt secure
And free
At peace
Youd peck at me forehead
But I still feel those kisses
My moustache would tickle
And youd giggle
I kissed you on the tummy
That made you convulse
In more delightful giggles
I could not remember
If twas night or day
A full moon
Or breezy dawn
I didnt care
I just wanted to remain there
For ever

All these you sang to me
With my head laid on your laps
Under the shadows of that tree
Where the stream and ocean kiss

to see you at peace made the woman in me smile,
a gentle woman smile
that knowing smile a woman gives
when her man is at peace
and its mainly because of her

If you think I would forget gentle caress
of the stream meeting the ocean
alas my love, I could not

I pray that it is me, and only me
who will bring that smile to your face
the smile that any other woman
would never be able to do
because I am one of a kind;
forever chained to your heart

a sound, a scent, these all bring to surface the memories
of pieces of love
that lie shallow beneath our everyday lives

then we dancedoh how we danced
We moved in a synchopatic rhythm
Yet as a perfect one
To the music of our passions
In that hall of natural ambience
With butterflies and birds
And tree lizards our audience

I could not remember
If twas night or day
A full moon
Or breezy dawn
I didnt care
I just wanted to remain there
For ever.....
