One only has at the Cargo Cult and the John Frum cult after WWII, to appreciate that.
This was only the appearance of mid 20th century of technology to a still roughly stone-age-people. They thought that if you built airstrips, the planes, or John Frum America, would return and all this wonderful cargo would be disgorged from the aircraft, and would become theirs.
Just think what desert living nomads would think, if they saw a being from another planet, thousands of times more advanced than we are now, arrive by whatever means, in front of their eyes. Magnify the Cargo Cult by thousands of percent, and you will get your answer.
It has long being my theory als, and I have posted it on this forum many times. We came from outer space at some stage. Or perhaps alien beings mated with homonids, or perhaps cloned us. That theory holds up to some degree. We do not appear to be related to Cro- Magnon Man, nor the Neanderthals. Thus there is no missing link found, and there never will be. That of course will remain a mystery, unless we possibly encounter the race that made us, or something.
There has to be an answer. Until that time, the God Theory is as good an explanation as any other theory. Not better - just a different theory.
So. That leaves us logically with three theories: 1. The Creation Theory. 2. The Theory of Evolution. 3. The Ailien Theory. Each equally plausible or implausible, depending on your stance on the matter.
Does anyone have another theory? These three have been rehashed ad infinitum on this forum. I don't think there is any new information to be gleaned from furthur argument about this.
